SMA is a disease of the muscles. It also makes it hard to breathe. Zoe has never walked, stood, or crawled. When she gets sick she uses machines to breathe, cough, and help her get better. She has a curved spine (scoliosis) so she has surgery twice a year - 8 so far and she's only seven years old. BUT...Zoe is happy and very loving. She is an awesome kid.
when shes older she will look at this and scream and hate whoever put this on youtube for everyone to see and hope child innocence saves her social life.
