Wow, what irony, even after that short and heartfelt battle, Hilda just told Tohma, that he's not even worth her effort. That's just show how pathetic Tohma is. :D
Didn't you know? I'm starting the new ToR Abridged Version. =P It saves me a little bit of time if I don't have to upload everything at once, that's all. ^_~ Especially since the next segment is pretty long even with the fight edited out (almost 11 minutes).
In general, I prefer to play as a melee fighter but I find that for tanks like Tohma, it's sometimes easier to let the AI act as a shield and for me to do the casting. *shrugs* Also, I just didn't want to play as Hilda for the next battle since it's against another mage and I can't speed cast like the computer does. O_o
Really? The AI is faster with chanting than a human player. That's creepy. Usually it's the other way around. Believe it or not, I played as Keel in Eternia when the party reaches Celesita. Speed casting was fun then :3
Though I can't remember my Rebirth very well (But that'll be fixed in a week's time due to Rebirth PSP), does the Spirit next to the combo mean anything? Like a Definite Strike is DestinyR?
"Spirit" means that the combo is being continued by a magic/elemental-based attack (e.g. any of Veigue's water elemental Skills/Ougis show up as Spirit attacks on the combo thingy). "Slash" is for normal slash attacks and "Blow" is for normal thrust attacks. So, uh, it just helps you determine where your combo hits are coming from I guess.
Rebirth's funny in that when I repeat battles, I tend to get completely different results each time. It's all about timing and luck I guess. *shrugs* But his Smash sucks which is why I went all-out on him; that way, he never got a chance to use it on me. =P
Well, if you liked what my Veigue was doing (gee, I sound like Midnight Feathers now or something =P), then try putting his AI settings like this: 1 (well, this one doesn't matter since there's only 1 enemy)-4-5. That way, he'll wait until there's an opening (a spell hits or another melee fighter lands an attack) before rushing in the start a combo. He'll also spread his attacks out too if another fighter is in the middle of a combo. Dangerous though since he won't heal much like this.
Bosses sure do die quickly on this game!

For some reason the video is only 39 seconds long... isn't there a scene before this?
The last video was the group being told to go away by Naira, I'm sure...

Nicely done, that'll teach that pervy minotaur!
I think I see what you mean about playing as Hilda (and as a mage).

Maybe I should have played a mage too... I was playing Tytree...
And Veigue's AI apparently didn't understand the notion of timing and keeping a combo >_>
