great video. However, I think that not causing pain is not as important as doing the procedure sterile. In my experience, you should clean the skin for at least 30 seconds with the cloraprep and then wait 30 seconds to allow the skin to dry on its own.
You can fill the syringe without the needle, then put the needle just before the injection, and aspirate before injecting Lidocaine.
