Army Group North was the only one of the three groups that recorded enlisted soldiers remaining in the same group for the entire war. Most of them wound up in Kurland, left by Hitler like the thousands he abandoned at Stalingrad.
@Raimoization Bet, ja padomā, tad labāk, ka tomēr palika tie letiņi Kurzemē. Ja viņus evakuētu uz Vāciju, tad viņi tur kristu vai arī pārbēgtu pie jeņķiem, kas nozīmē tikai to, ka nebūtu mežabrāļu un Latvijā paliktu vēl mazāk latvju. Dieva pirksts, ja labpatīk!

In Kurland there were fighting 3 Lithuanian battalions: 10(256), 13, and 5th.
