you need to put shutter speed on high to video a star when you zoom in the light is knocked out so you can see the body of the planet, thats why the change, this is a planet for def

Yes Ive noticed this bright star in the sky in early evenings and I am sure its getting closer to the earth cos I am pretty sure as a child I never saw anything that bright in the sky.

I have a telescope that allows specific cameras, e.g. Nikon, to be attached to the eyepiece to take photographs through it.

I must get hold of a working camera!!! I bought one off ebay that was faulty, lol.

I see it in the sky every night just like you said. Well except when the sky is cloudy. lol Earlier around late December of last year I seen another planet. (I'm guessing Mercury) Plus the moon in it's crescent and both those planets where in some sort of alignment that to me looked like an axe in the sky. (If I wasn't working that night I would have taken a picture or drawn it.) Peace.

Hey Izzy. I have the same type of footage you have of venus. If you have an iris setting, open it up as much as you can for venus & watch the colour disapear & then you'll see the planet as dark brown & be able to make out darker patches of craters. Depends on the camera you use, mines a Canon XL1, on it's last legs now too!
