Embedding it doesn't mean you are downloading it...you are really just linking to the video...it's still located on YouTube. So, Yes, you need an internet connection to view it.

This method does not need internet after done..

Use "ZillaTube" to download from YouTube...... at fast speed to your computer, and also convert so easily to good quality powerpoint video file.

Then just insert that video into your powerpoint

just google for "zillatube" It works awesome.
