  • I liked this alot and found it very refreshing to hear. I wish you all the best.

  • @flyingmantis1

    Thanks!!

  • very good sound! nice play, too.

i'm curious about the location of the anthem pre-amp.

won't it stuck with the top bracing after you installed the sunrise pickup?

and if the anthem pre-amp powerful enough to run the sunrise?

(thanks! cause i'm going to have a lowden, and i'm considering about anthem, too)^^

  • @avesbirdgun Thanks for the comment!! :)

    I know I need more practicing~~

There're no problem for Anthem to run Sunrise.

The combination of Anthem and Sunrise creates decent outcome for the amplification.

But I do have problem to get the Anthem fixed tightly enough on Lowden's "dolphin" top bracing. It annoys me until recently.

I suggest you be careful with the idea of using Anthem on Lowden.

Talk to your luthier and make sure of it. :)

  • thanks for your opinion.

so how do you figure out the problem on fixing the anthem on a dolphin brace top?

  • @avesbirdgun

The dolphin brace top simply don't have much space near the sound hole whether Sunrise is installed or not.

You just can't get Anthem stick on the flat top of the guitar's tonewood.

You have to use some foam tape to match the height of brace and then stick Anthem on it.

Due to lack of surfice of contact, you'll need stickers powerful enough to stand the weight of Anthem.

I used double-sided adhesive and it failed .

Then I tried superglue and velcro and they seem to work so far.
