Case in point is DUI and Police checkpoints that blatnatly violate our rights.
Here's an idea. Create a parallel government within your own communities that bypasses the government. This parallel government is "ran" by people of skills: farmers, technicians, etc. They don't decide anything, but only help give people access to the things that are needed. Help each other get off the grid. Stop using money. Then when enough people come together then we can start something completely different: A resource-based economy.

If it is not a contract then it has no validity as an instrument and is not binding in any way that we can guarantee. I agree with 95% of what you say. But, we have the power of the vote and we can incrementally move the ball in the right direction. Not saying it will happen in our lifetime but complacency is what got us in this mess.
