I just got my hair put into dreadlocks about a month or so ago, and i really enjoy them! I know how you feel, tho, because dreadlocks have such a bad rep. its hard to be accepted with them. My only is advise is: Screw em! You only live this life once and if you want to get dreadlocks, then you should! They are a lot of fun! Just remember, they take a bit of time to mature and become as beautiful as the girl in the video's. Do some research and see if they are for you!

I hope my dreads look like her's someday! My dreads are five months old (today is the mark for the anniversary, aha.). There's loose hairs everywhere and my roots are normal hair. :/ It's driving me insane, and sometimes I want to get rid of them, but when I see nice dreadlocks like these I think "okay, I can wait longer. They'll lock.". Her dreads are amazing. Did she use wax or any dread products in her hair?

@mixxedlabelzz she used products only in the first months but they didn't change so much. Her dreadies are about 4 y.o., when I made them , they were soft and now they're even too hard!
