Honestly. I own this on DVD and watch it thinking "what the FUCK happened to Anime?"

What a dead medium. So dead. It died in the early 2000's IMO. I was the biggest anime nerd in the 90's and loved anime circa 70s 80s and 90s. Then the medium took a giant shit on itself. The last animes I remember that were even worth mentioning were Memories, Metropolis, and Ghost In The Shell 2.

All 3 Fatal Fury movies were awesome, Pokemon show was awesome, Evangelion, Dragonball/Z and not to mention Akira!

@whostolecarlosrox The list of amazing animes was just endless. Berserk, Ninja Scroll, Riding Bean, Sailor Moon, Samurai Pizza Cats, VAMPIRE HUNTER D (the sequel was alright), and more more more.

Stuff like the New Vampire Hunter D, Blood The Last Vampire, and Ninja Scroll Resurrection varied from okay to insulting.

I just find it so sad how this medium took a huge dip so quickly. We lost the music, sound effects, characters, art, etc. Now the voices suck, the art sucks, everything sucks.

The first Fatal Fury was a joe OVA. Every video game had one back then.

The second was a Made for TV movie.

This one was given a theatrical release :O Only Terry Bogard could take a video game franchise that far.

HAHA! I had just realized that tonight. Ronin Warriors was either the 1st or 2nd anime i was ever introduced to as a kid. The other that could have been 1st was Sailor moon.

One of my christmas gifts was to get this on VHS. I eventually did and played it over and over that I MESMERIZED ALL THE LINES and rewinded the tape over and over; killing the quality. I don't regret it though; this movie is great. Great action, characters, and animations.
