I was laughed out of a teaching job interview because I believe strongly in critical thinking and did not agree that "teaching to the test" (having students spend weeks studying old tests) works. If we cannot teach critical thinking and writing skills to high school students, where else where they learn? And then teachers were recently caught erasing and rewriting answers on a test, because this is what they were all about: teaching to the test. My children will be critical thinkers.
After leaving my psychology course due to a moral issue this lady has confirmed my suspicions about education, it's not just in USA but also here in UK and its moving at a faster pace. Thank Charlotte for your courage and devotion to this subject I am now planning to remove my child from school

Shes 81 years old, so shes obviously very smart. If you dont understand make sure you watch parts 1 through 5 and just put on the headphones and listen and pay attention. Informing children at an early age about these issues isn't morally compromising. Questions:
1) What is anyone's motivation for such an elaborate conspiracy? What good does it do them, in other words? This is unclear to me.
2) How is this not contradicting her point about computers? It's a youtube video, watched from a comp, about how you shouldn't trust comps? That makes no sense.
3) Where is any of her evidence for this? Random books that could be written by anybody? I could point to Lord of the Rings as my proof for destroying the one ring but it doesn't make it factual.

Shes 81 years old, so shes obviously very smart. If you dont understand make sure you watch parts 1 through 5 and just put on the headphones and listen and pay attention. Then you will understand what she is talking about. You can't say she cant talk well her english is well spoken and clear. I really thought one of the best things she spoke about was how they brought in sex ed and classes about alcohol abuse which in reality is just informing the kid at a younger age and focusing on workforce.

@dman0042 the problem with the -ed classes is that parents fail to inform their children about sex, drugs, alcohol, etc. In turn, the schools, which fail to do so successfully, do so. Informing children at an early age about these issues isn't morally compromising. I was informed of sex, drugs, alcohol, etc at seven; yet, I'm one of the few individuals I know of who eschew such things. It isn't informing children at a young age that is wrong, it's how you do it.

I graduated high school not too long ago (around 2-3 weeks). Ever since then, I have been watching Alex Jones' documentaries, show, and interviews. It's funny. There are essentially opposing versions of reality. One is rules &/or status bound. and the other is more or less open ended conceptually. Most people end up adapting to "rule & staus bound" (which is more warlike in nature). It means one can use threats to self aggrandize. our socialist fiscal, international, monetary and economic policies are the reason our country is starving for jobs. we need (more) nationalism socialism like a hole in the head.
