@schoarama87 Rag dolls are very loving and are perfect lap cats, himalayan's can be a lap cat but are less likely than ragdolls, also ragdolls are bigger than himalayan's on average and a ragdolls fur does not mat up like the himalayan's does. Himalayan's are avid hunters unlike the rag doll but the rag doll, if bred correctly is normally free of any heath problems! not to mention when you pick a rag doll up they are suppose to go "limp" looking like a rag doll, hence the name!

@Ghertsgaard Ragdolls are mostly from mutt stock- the founding male was named "Daddy Warbucks" and was a white, Birman-like tom.

By they way- Mocha is super cute! Her face isn't too squishy- and she's not quiet, like most Himilayans/Persians are. Pretty baby!

I <3 Himilayans/Persians, but I'm allergic to cats- my domestic shorthair gray mackrel tabby makes my face very itchy. I can't ever see myself NOT having cats though. I <3 FUR KIDS!

He's a half siamese and a half persian cat, making a Himalayan..... There are several colours they can turn out to be....but this is a seal point himalayan....b/c he is more like his siamese genes.

Hey I went back and watched it.....you're right. The colouring is very similar ....I got my cat from the OSPCA at a year old.... so I imagine this is close to what he would have looked like. Only his tail, ears and a spot on his face are dark ...the rest is creamy. But mine is supposed to be a seal-point.

I think Seal-Points are silver/gray and cream. Flame Points are more red and cream and Torties are Brown and Cream.

Yeh Seal-Points have multiple colours. I'd never heard of Flame Point.....only ones I knew of were Seal, Torti, Blue Points. How many are there? lol... I want a pure white one now. But I went three months ago to the OSPCA again and got a mutt. Black and white mutt. He's adorable. I always get the older ones and the mutts b/c they don't have much of a chance. The kittens and fancy breeds always get adopted first. Not quite fair.
