I recently knew about a group of trans guys on tumblr, bullying a 13 y'o FTM, who happens to be REALLY feminine; I have to admit it, at the beginning I was a little confused cuz he certainly doesn't look as a guy, but being a gender fluid FTM, I know it's totally O.K to wear makeup, have long hair, or freaking wear a skirt if that's what makes you feel good, and no one has the right to tell you otherwise.
BTW your puppy is absolutely adorable! (I have a serious soft spot for animals)
@sammylust God, you're right. Why did I even think to make a video sticking up for people who are offended by such silly and harmless "opinions". Thank you for showing me the error of my ways. Where would I be without your guidance.
Thank you for making this video. I'm a transguy who can't transition because my health just doesn't allow me to take T. And I can't explain how much it hurts when even your trans brothers calls you "she", and make you feel like you're crashing their party even though you're not a member of the club. I can deal with everyone else not seeing me as male, I think they can be excused - but when other transguys, who should know what it's all about, pushes you out in the cold, it's extremely hurtful.
@preciousfetus within the trans community this can very easily turn into bullying. While I see your point and appreciate it. The bigger picture is really what I was trying to address. Someone telling you is rude, yes. But in the context in which some of these comments are made is really saying, youre not man enough. Youre not good enough. Youre not being rude. I see what you're saying.
@JackGr8ndEmpire Jack i have watching you since your old channel was around and i always thought you brought point up very frankly clearly and openly like you have done with this video i agree 100% with what you have said this is bullying and can turning into bullying because it's being CONTROLLING of another person twisting it to THEIR liking no one has that right. when i saw your pink tt and puppy dog i thought of caring Jack a gentle Jack who has love to give, peace.
@planetscollision Thank you so much for watching I really appreciate it. Your support means a lot. Some of these comments people leave seem innocent enough but when you put into context it means more than what they're saying.
@JackGr8ndEmpire its nae bother for the support mate, yeah i think thats what i'm trying to say too, i could say so much on this subject but the it would take up pages of comments and hours long videos lol, i've been bullyed in the past for reason that are minor and made a big deal from it's a sensitive subject for me but i carry on because i have to and advocate to education and awareness.
unsolicited opinions (while RUDE) i don't categorize as bullying and don't understand how it can be unless it's repeated after requests to stop. i've been a short haired girl for YEARS and i have had //so many// DIFFERENT men and women alike tell me how i'd be prettier with long hair over the years. it's not bullying. it is them expressing their preference impolitely. and to be clear, I'M not trying to be rude, i just don't get how someone offering a dissenting opinion is bullying.
@preciousfetus Often times people don't get the tone of the comment because after all this is just text and tone is very hard to bring across to another person.
If you don't understand how this could be bullying then your maybe not as opened minded as you think you are because you have very clearly missed Jacks points as he already has very nicely explained to you in his comment.
what does my disagreement have to do with how open minded i am? and what is with the condescending? "clearly missed"? "already explained?" i haven't even responded to him yet!
@preciousfetus I hoping you have already read the reply to your first comment of yours by Jack and have now understood why i said what i said, disagreements come about by the lack of understanding about a situation in other words 'ignorance is bliss' as harsh as that sounds its the truth about many people. Trans people who are just starting out are and can be sensitive to their appearance as they trying their best to 'pass' hence they can take it as bullying.
