Great video - in my opinion, the best looking loco ever built. In the same month (Aug 87) 4472 also ran a special from York to Saltburn for the Saltburn Victoriana Week. My father was the driver on that run and its return - don't suppose you captured any video of that run?
I would say you have some excellent stuff here alan despite as you say the quality of the reproduction, well worth the effort of transferring to the modern format.
