What a pain in the ass. I'm in the USA, and there's no chance I'm going to get to see the language videos without your uploads. I'm already missing this season of Misfits because E4 are being douches.
@artgoat have you tried a thing called p*i*r*a*t*e*b*a*y*d*o*t*c*o*m? It's a torrent system so if you haven't used it before you'll prolly have more problems but I found the first two episodes of Misfits there and watched them yesterday. Tell you what, they're excellent even though there's a change in the cast ;)
I understand why they say that they don't know why/how placebos work, they can't scientifically prove it, but they do know though. It's psychological, and so much is when it comes to medicine. For example, you feel more physical pain if you're depressed than if you're actually in a positive mood. The thing is that they can't yet prove that brain chemistry/mood can actually effect physical ailments.
@RokiaNY Yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he thinks Americans are stupid. I think he finds them more quirky than stupid. Americans aren't inherently stupid, there just happens to be a lot of people getting funded or encouraged to make or do stupid stuff.
@baldrbraa he's quiet a famous director, made partcularly famous for a group of ads where he coined the phrase "calm down dear". he is a particularly ugly and loathsome person. seriously he's pretty famous
@VitriolicAC I was just thinking the same thing. I forget which episode it was, but there was one where he looked like he was going to be sick, or cry. I hope it's just angle/lighting...
it is such a travesty that here in the states the argument for teaching such superstitious nonsense is even entertained. it is quite serious though, a school board panel in texas is attempting to include such dogmatic assertions in text books which will be used in a majority of states for middle school science texts. it is appalling. thanks very much for sharing these videos, cheers
I like how they always vastly generalize America. I'm nearly positive that there are very few school districts here that teach intelligent design, and those that do often fall below the Mason-Dixon line. I know I never learned anything about that in school.
@AvianAquatics To their credit, they never state that American schools teach creationism, just that there are fundamentalists that try to get it into the curriculum - which is perfectly true.
Damn, I was going to use "Shepherd of the Anus" as the name for my crust punk/grindcore cross-over band. Now it will just seem hackneyed and unoriginal.
Fundamentalists actually propose that dinosaurs didn't exist, but that god simply put fossils in the earth. Why? Dot they actually beleive that he/she/it is trying to fuck with us? That's the kind of god they believe in? A practical joker?! There goes any credibility and, with it, faith.
@timdaughte of course gods a practical joker. all gods from every faith are practical jokers. the Greek gods had endless fun doing stuff to mortals for no reason other than to fuck with their heads. And god is no exception, he did it to poor job in the bible. Deities fucking with people isn't a new thing. Hah, just re-read last sentence and thought of Zeus.
Many different peoples believe in trickster gods who fuck with humanity as well as other gods. Why the hell can't a god fuck with its creations, it's called experimentation and/or entertaining oneself. I do believe that the whole idea that a god would put fossils in the Earth as a method to measure one's faith is idiocy though, as well as the whole creationist theory.
@timdaughte Problem with concluding about a population based on fundamentalists is that one will stop eating completely after he once had food poisoning. Don't let the red herrings detract from pursuing the whole picture mate.
@theaaroneason My ability to post longer videos. Because of the Language videos, which aren't available anymore, I got knocked back to 15 minute uploads.
@quite1nteresting That is quite unfortunate. I am grateful that I was able to see them before they were gone. I am glad to see that the resulting complications have not altogether prevented you from posting new videos. Here's to hoping the youtube gods don't decide to complicate your life any further! :)
@vitopetre I don't think it's just the amount of videos, but a combo of activity, good standing (ie no copyright strikes) subs, views and length of time on here. But it all probably varies. It was the bbc ww's copyright claim for the language videos, since it happened at the same time, which cut my extended limit.
@quite1nteresting that's too bad! Glad I managed to catch the Language videos :) Thanks for posting them, I probably wouldn't have had a chance to see them otherwise.
@quite1nteresting Ahh, how sad, I was going to watch it...But anyway, I'm glad that you're still here. I'm really thankful for all your work. Thank you!<3

@timdaughte If there were a god and if it was so, what a sad wanker O_o

So how many videos do you need to have uploaded on your channel to be able to cross the 15 minute limit?
Or did I get that wrong and they put the limit on you as some kind of punishment for uploading these "language videos"?
Is it likely that you will be allowed to go back to longer videos some day?
