  • I watch MSNBC but Mathews is a know it all that doesnt know it all....and he gets his show on the air twice! Time to retire him. Outrageous when he was selling his new book on JFK he belittled and marginalized Obama as being less than his JFK.....just to sell books.

  • I haet Chriss Mathew and ihs massiv flamin socialist mouth..... Hes unbelieeevvably ammreican when you tink about it!!! Arrogant, ignorant, never lets anyone else have a word, loud, obnoxious.......hoeld on, gott put down my joint reall quick here........idiotic, arrragant, ignorant, loud, obnoctious.........I'm just gonnn stop Im to high

  • Matthews lost me with his 90-minute warm-up speech, never even did hang around to hear what TB had to say.

  • Ron Paul.

  • wow, brokaw went jerry sandusky on his ass

  • It's true....and they never had to explain themselves! The media's bias toward Obama was disgusting

  • This is awesome. Both Matthews and Brokaw are dead, and we have this exchange to remember them by. Thanks for posting aigeanta

  • @cannonade74 Matthews and Brokaw are dead?

  • @cannonade74

As of right now, Anybody or anything that says Chris Matthews or Tom Brokaw is dead is a baldface liar. I know EVERYTHING about this. Matthews and Brokaw are STILL ALIVE !!! BROKAW and MATTHEWS BEING DEAD IS THE BIGGEST LIE IN THE WHOLE WORLD !!!

    - Dwight

  • @djthereplay Yep, I was wrong. I had Brokaw confused with someone else. He is definitely alive cuz he was just on Piers Morgan and he mentioned something that happened recently. Matthews is certainly dead, however. God rest his soul.

  • Leave this Lot Losers

  • Remember the liberal slogan..."Change We Can Believe In"... How is that working out?

  • @SitesThatSuck

I remember the liberal slogan " Change You Can Believe In " ..... BUT DON`T ASK ABOUT THINGS THAT YOU DON`T HAVE THE HEART OR GUTS TO TRY !!!

    - Dwight

  • I'm a Democratic and I like JFK,...but Chris Mathews mentions him on MSNBC so much it's like JFK is a paying sponsor on Hardball. There are many other presidents to talk about LBJ FDR Clinton Reagan or Nixon. Chris Mathews needs to shut up on JFK for a while before I throw my remote at the TV.

  • @Breeslave Yes....It's seems every 5 minutes on his show he will stop in mid sentence and say "Oh by the way my new book Jack Kennedy..Elusive Hero is now available in your local book store.

  • @Breeslave A) He's promoting his new book on JFK.

    B) The JFK analogy is especially apt at the moment because Obama won the presidency largely on JFK-style rhetoric and idealism, but whether he can mirror Kennedy in terms of toughness and leadership once in office is far more debatable.

    C) Matthews talks about Reagan quite a bit, too.

  • Was Chris an abused child or what he is so obnoxious.

  • @wilcarr1 no..it's just poor toilet training

  • I have no idea why this fat slob Matthews, is still on the NBC payroll.

  • Tom Brokaw is a real legend.

  • Chris Matthews would eat the corn and peanuts out of Obama's shit .

And did he say "self-flatulation" ? at the beginning? Maybe THAT was the tingling he was getting 'up my leg' when listening to Obama give a speech.

  • Chris Matthews is an ASSHOLE!!! I can't stand him.. Way to go Tom Brokaw. He showed Chris!

  • Chris Matthews is such a idiot.

  • @marinesnip Dude, get a grip: he's much smarter than you, but then, who isn't?

  • @ChandlerPol Nice one. Did your Dad's life partner teach you that one? I have a Masters in Electrical Engineering, what does Chris Matthews have? He is a hack and always will be.

  • @marinesnip My mom? No, she didn't teach me that one. Matthews attended graduate school, as have I and apparently, so have you. But maybe you should stick to engineering.

  • Chris Mathews has more fat between his ears than Oprah has on her ass.

  • Chris Matthews wrong on his analysis and predictions AGAIN? What a shock!! Lol

  • @JimHadar1

Actually, lol, no, nvm, now I get what ur saying.

  • @JimHadar1

I'd be interested to hear your views about Fox News.

  • We need more people in news like Brokaw & the late Tim Russert. Matthews used to at least try to be a little unbiased at first, but after a while he became as much a DNC propaganda liberalist douche mouthpiece as Olberman, Maddox, etc.

  • But in the end that come back meant nothing and the big picture view that she was going down proved correct. Chris Matthews wasn't so off in his forecast after all.

  • Looks like Matthews is a lil' lost.

  • @m415mike

leave this lot loser! unless you want a licking! and we'd love to deliver that licking! id love to lick a lemon lollipop in lillyhammer

  • Thank goodness that entire network at least had one real reporter in Tom Brokaw

  • I'd love to lick a lemon lollipop in Lilliehammer

  • @crazymcfobo lol we were all thinking the same thing

  • Yeah....

  • Matthews has turned into a liberal dickwipe. Im surprised that anyone watches him.

  • I did not hear Tom Brokaw do his job during the Bush era. He should lecture himself!

  • HA! Matthews Get pwned by Brokaw....I loove it :)

  • I want to hear him properly say this!

I'd love to lick a lemon lollipop in Lilliehammer

  • if i ever see this guys face to face i will punch him on the face with all i got he will never breathe right again!!!!

  • Chris Matthews is a HOMO

  • ''Leave this lot losers, unless you want a licking, and we'd love to be the ones to deliver that licking.'' -Tom Brokaw

  • @TheTruthNow000

    LOL.

    You calling people nigger? hahaha.

    Mr Tough guy.

  • u suck matthews

  • haha. Tom Brokaw pwned him ^_^

  • I wouldn't call that a lecture, but thanks for the melodramatization.

  • either way, matthews is a manchild.

  • And, of course, Brokaw is wrong again as it was Obama, and not Hillary, who won the election.

Brokaw can now go back to doing what he does best: fellating the WWII generation for big bucks with fawning faux history.

  • OH NO HE DI'INT

  • I'm not sure that was a "lecture".

  • I <3 Tom Brokaw.

  • Chris Matthews needs a good spanking

  • Brokaw! I love you man! Teach Chris Mathews a lesson, Tommy-boy. Maybe someone of Brokaw great honor as an news man will rub off to Mathews? We can only hope.

  • actually the last 8 years has made most americans middle with a left leaning. Americans, (as an american i can say this) are whiny, bitchy, and complete fucking assholes. We're so used to this undeserved power that whenever it gets shaky we freak out. The only Americans who dont want socialized healthcare are the wealthy. That's it. Try finding ANYONE making less than 100,000 a year who enjoys insurance companies. You sound like a racist, white, fat asshole. Odds are, that's correct.

  • attending a racist "church" for 20 years does not make one Christian, as far as I'm concerned.

  • azrael, and who won the election. oh, yes Obama trampled McCain huh?

  • Obama got elected b/c muddle-headed voters appointed a complete amateur to the toughest job in the world. Anyone who bought his stock expecting to see it rise is taking an enormous gamble, as are all of us who refrained from the Messiah stock.

Obama's decision to name Hillary Clinton the Secretary of State post could well turn out to be his first major blunder, The Clintons are power seekers and not even a Chicago politician can stop their relentless drive for power. What a blunder!

  • i don't know about "trampled." their have been less marginal elections. try reading a book or something.

  • RushRobin.., you're so good at dishing out advice, so perhaps you can use some yourself: try reading a lot of books--and not just their covers, but rather, from start to finish.

I don't support our current U.S. electoral college system, but under this said system, candidates can win by large electoral vote margins and yet barely win (or lose) the popular vote.

Hence, Obama trampled McCain in the electoral vote count. It was your assumption, not mine. Guess my college was better than yours.

  • well you got the first part right. im REAL good at giving out advice. just leave it at that and you'll be fine. btw, it's sad you would even comment my spelling when you clearly knew what i meant, how petty.

  • Rush, you should also try spelling "there" correctly. LOL!

  • Since when did you have to be Christian to be president? Even if he were Muslim, which he's not, it SHOULDN'T make a difference if he wasn't. This is America, if you can believe in anything close to the American dream or our countries values you would look at his ability to lead, not his religion. People like you are stubborn, ignorant and drive nothing but hate toward America and push the "dumb American" stereotype further. Fuck you. God has nothing to do with the US. God is a private issue.

  • @classicor Not true! God is a part of the Constitution(Preamble), The Bill of Rights, and also the Declaration Of Independence. All of which are documents of the foundation of the United States. God is also in our Pledge to the Flag! So you see, God is the mainstay of our country and it's perpetuation all these years and I might add God is even in the oath that Mr. Obama recited when he took office!

  • @coleyman1 God is an issue that you deal with yourself. There is no mandatory religion in this country, that's what I'm trying to say. You can be atheist, Muslim, Buddhist, it doesn't matter--the qualifications of the office of President of the United States doesn't mention religion for good reason. The word God might plaster our documents, but it doesn't state you must believe in him.

  • @classicor I agree. Thanks for the clarification. I do hope that when the president, whomever that may be, takes the oath of office that he means it when he says "So help me God". I must also state that EVERY president has uttered those words. Now, another question! Just for informational purposes only-- do you think that a TRUE Muslim can be a good American? Just curious as to your opinion... Have a good one..

  • @classicor How do you know he's not a Muslim? You answer: Because he said so and because he went to church. My response: He's made a lot of campaign promises that were either lies or haven't and don't look like they'll come through. Anyone can say anything and anyone can sit in a pew for a few hours a month. No, I'm not a christian; I don't believe in a magical sky daddy, just telling you that your logic fails there.

  • @Thatmakessense356 I'm saying that it has nothing to do whether or not he's Muslim or not. So what if he were? Would it really make a difference? I don't put much thought or stock into whether or not he is or isn't a certain religion. I'm only worrying about his presidency and how well our country is doing. Religion has absolutely no part in a persons presidency. Also, I doubt he put in 20 years at a church just on the off chance he may be president someday.

  • @classicor You still must admit though that you do not know that he is a christian. I just hate it when people assume that everything a politician says is true. Micheal Phelps swam 100's of thousands of laps to earn gold. It seems like a much smaller sacrifice to occasionally spend 2 hours listening to something you don't believe for two hours. Otherwise your point was perfectly correct and reasonable.

  • @Thatmakessense356 Again, who cares? Would it really matter? Would he govern any better or worse if he were a secret Muslim? And even the Phelps comparison is idiotic, because what you're saying doesn't equate. It'd be like if Phelps swam all those laps just to impress some girl instead of actually enjoying the sport of it. I'm pretty sure he swam those laps because he enjoys swimming, and I'm pretty sure Obama practices Christianity because he believes in it.

  • @classicor All I cared about in the first place was that you made a factual statement that you could never prove.

  • @Thatmakessense356 When's the last time anyone ever questioned McCain's religion? How about Romney, or any other white politician? I'm hard pressed to find anyone who went to a church for over 20 years having their religion questioned. And again, why would it matter if I misspoke, if I said a statement that wasn't factual? Would it matter if he were Muslim? Would it really matter? You wouldn't be upset with me apparently misspeaking if it didn't have any implications, implied or otherwise.

  • @classicor "You wouldn't be upset with me apparently misspeaking if it didn't have any implications, implied or otherwise." What do you mean by implied implications? "why would it matter if I misspoke, if I said a statement that wasn't factual?" Because you mislead people that way.

  • @classicor The dumb America type as you put it is only being purported by the democrats as they try to paint themselves as superior intellects once again. When you can't stand toe to toe with them, insult them. That is the democrats way. Muslim nations persecute and kill people of other religions. That is why a Muslim should not be president. And if you truly have the intellect, reply without cursing and make a valid point.

  • @Ginasong Wow talk about digging up something old. Anyways, give some examples. When have the Democrats painted American's as stupid? And, your point about Muslim nations being overzealous bigots is irrelevant anyways. It's about the individual, not their religion. I'm sure you'd be upset if a Christian politician was being discriminated against simply because of his religion. Hell, Republicans get up in arms every time you don't say Christmas.

  • @classicor You don't understand what I'm trying to say. Many Muslims believe Christians should be killed, the United States of America should be destroyed and if they were in power there would be only one religion--theirs. That's why it is dangerous to allow them in control. It's like because we want to be politically correct, we cut our noses off to spite our face. I appreciate our conversation and the fact you talked to me without cursing.

  • @Ginasong It's amazing that you don't see the connection between "Christians" committing atrocities and Islamic fascists. They obviously don't represent the mainstream of their religion and shouldn't be used to judge anyone but themselves. Yes, some Muslims do believe that America is evil and Americans are evil, but the vast majority do not. Look at the individual, not their religion and any assumptions that can be brought about because of it. "Don't judge a book by its cover".

  • @classicor There is a vast difference between Christians and Muslims.Biblical scriptures of the Holy Bible when adhered to do not a terrorist make. Terrorists are a natural product of the message of the Koran--not so with the Bible. People who don't know the real meaning of the totality of Biblical scriptures will respond by bringing up violence in the O.T. but that would not be accurate. Christians, by the very definition are not murderers. This is not about political correctness.

  • @Ginasong Again, you need to be pretty specific when making broad generalities like that. Where, in the Koran does it say such things? I know where it does in the Bible, stoning your wife for adultery, an eye for an eye, etc. But then again I'm sure you'll say I'm misreading, or misunderstanding the Bible. Well, what's the chances you're misunderstanding the Koran? I'm sure you can get a violent interpretation of the Koran if you really try. You can do the same with the Bible.

  • @classicor You responded (as I foretold in my previous post) the way people who don't really know the scriptures respond...with examples of O.T. Old Testament law that was made for the chosen people of God during a specific time in history for standards of holiness to show that man cannot obtain that holiness without God. Yes, such common knowledge examples do show a very limited knowledge of the Word in that Jesus Himself made reply to both in the New Testament. (cont.)

  • @classicor (part 2) The Bible is quite clear about the examples you gave and I never hear anyone quote these verses unless they are trying to excuse something they've done and they believe they are doing it in a Biblical manner. However, Christians know and do not act out on those verses. But Muslims killed more Christians Christmas day. It happens all the time. Our liberal media always makes sure it is noted that they are "extremists". Real Christians do not commit murder.

  • @Ginasong Again, it's utterly amazing how you don't see the similarities between Muslim and Christian extremists. You claim I have limited knowledge of the Bible when it's pretty obvious it's the same with you and the Koran. I'm sure any Imam would tell you that the violent interpretations you have aren't fully informed. Muslim extremists quote passages and parts of the Koran to try and excuse their violence while ignoring the passages about peace--sound familiar?

  • @classicor I will explain again. A Christian extremist is someone who loves to such an extent they are even more like Jesus. They will not murder. If the God of the Bible is the only true God then all other scripture cannot be compared to it because those scriptures would be about a false god. You are correct. I have only read a little of the Koran. That is why I do not pick parts out to disprove what you say. I speak of the results of the Koran compared to the results of the Bible.

  • @classicor (2) I do not need to be knowledgeable about the thousands of false scriptures in the world to know they are false. In the midst of all this falseness though, there stands a Creator who wants to be known by His creation. The Creator's enemy has insured confusion by making his own scriptures whereby many are led away from the Truth. However, the truth of Jesus is one you can try yourself to see if it is from God.If you want to know God, He will allow Himself to be seen by you.

  • @classicor Muslim extremists murder. Christian extremists love even more. Vast, vast difference and one of the proofs of the power of the Word of God.

  • @Ginasong (1) WOW. Really? If your truth is the only truth then why not widen your palette and read the Koran? So what if it's false, I'd argue it's better to not be ignorant. Look at the book itself, find the passages that promote violence so you can be better prepared to disprove idiots like me. You don't need to believe it to read it. And also, your idea of Christian extremists is just that, your idea. What do you call the Crusades? Abortion bombings? Oh yeah, they're just

  • @classicor (2) taking the Bible and using it for their own selfish reasons? Right? Well, maybe, just maybe, terrorists are doing the same. I'm not going to argue that as a whole, Muslim nations aren't a little more progressive than we are, because they certainly aren't. Many of these nations use this religion improperly, I feel, to spread hate and fear in order to control their populace. Why? It's so they blame their problems on outside sources instead of their own governments.

  • @classicor (3) At the end of the day you just need to get a bit more prospective. (3) You're probably not a bad person, you probably have a good heart, you're just a little ignorant. And, at the end of the day, isn't it easier to not hate a complete group of people than it is to invest so much time and thought into making excuses for that hate? Would Jesus want you to demonize an entire group of people? Shouldn't you keep believing what you do and keep being a good person?

  • @classicor You assume a lot of things that aren't true and then you say I need more perspective. Also, I don't hate the Muslims. I just know they are worshiping a false God.No, I haven't read the whole Koran, only a little of it and I may or may not read more. I don't spread hate and fear either as you said either. Facing the reality about Muslims who believe they are being good Muslims by committing murder is about facing facts. You may be politically correct but you're not correct.

  • @classicor Please don't say I'm demonizing people. Let the facts speak for themselves. Look up terrorists acts and see who are committing them.

  • @classicor I know enough about the Muslim religion to know it is not the truth. It is you who should study the Word of God to know the real truth instead of arguing the Bible with people when you don't know enough about it to argue your point to anyone who does know the Word.

  • @Ginasong I'm sure telling them that everything they believe in is a lie and that their god is a false god is really going to sew up relations between the two religions. And, I do look at the facts, and the fact is that there are billions of Muslims throughout the world yet less than one tenth of one percent are terrorists. The same can be said about Christianity. You're the one taking the fact that some terrorists are Muslim to paint the entire religion.

  • @Ginasong Also, let me share with you an influential story in my own life. I once asked a preacher what he thought of people who didn't share his beliefs. He told me that he didn't dare judge them or what they believed, instead he said that he would keep believing what he did with the knowledge that eventually they would see the good his religion had on his life and they would someday convert. It may take generations, he said, but forcing people to believe isn't believing.

  • @classicor Thank you for sharing. I agree that our lives are to be an example. I'm interested in what being judgmental actually means. If I said I was a Christian and had God in my heart guiding and directing me and you looked at some of my fruits and decided I wasn't, would you be judging? Yet the Bible says we will know them by their fruits. As for forcing someone to believe, I don't think we can force anybody. But I believe we certainly need to challenge people to seek God.

  • @Ginasong Being judgmental is making an opinion regarding their lives. It's calling their god a false one, even if you truly believe it to be so. And God doesn't direct you, he doesn't lead you, if anything he influences you to make the right decision. People think he's in your head telling you to do this or do that. He gave you choice for a reason. God can't tell you right or wrong, it's up to you to figure that out on your own.

  • @classicor Judging is not making an opinion. We must make opinions about people all the time. A judge sentences. He makes a judgement....who will be sentenced....who will not. God does lead and direct. Sometimes, with just a small voice...sometimes not. He is God and He can speak to us how He deems necessary.

  • @Ginasong Well they may not be the same all the way down the line, but an opinion needs to be made in a judgement, that much is clear. And I think we're making real progress here, you've admitted you're view is an opinion. They're not set in stone, they can be changed. Hopefully someday you'll get over your hostile views of other religions, Islam in particular. Anyways, I've had fun. Good luck in life.

  • @Ginasong Also, its irrelevant because there are Christians in Africa, the Lord's Resistance Army, that commit numerous atrocities--yet I don't hear you calling for a ban on Christian politicians simply because other Christians across the globe kill people and don't fully or correctly represent anything Christians here actually believe. It's bigoted, your opinion, and ignorant.

  • @classicor It's amazing to me that people keep making these same old tired arguments. I wish everyone knew that anyone who calls themselves Christian and then goes and commits attrocities, are NOT Christians. But that is exactly why the enemy uses the name of Christ...because it gives people a bad view of Christians. The sad thing is, this gets told over and over because people want to believe it. After all, if that's Christianity, then they have an excuse not to be one.

  • Where is the big lecture?

  • hell here we come....

  • what?

  • lou dobb's tells the truth and yet the people still want more fcking bullshit dished up!

  • ah yes lou(keep the brown people out keep it white) dobbs..ah yes.... yeah he sucks.

  • Amen! Only about 10% of what so-called "cable news" actually shows is real news. The rest is bullshit and infotainment. They trivialize the political process to no end. Does any common citizen actually give a fuck about all these polls that say "Oh, they say McCain will win by 51%"or whatever?? I don't! I could care less. I make my own judgments! Stop trying to have sway in the election, you corporate media bastards! This is not real journalism! A monkey could do Chris Matthews' job.

  • Right on. Actually, a recent survey came out that less than 50% of Americans trust the press anymore. I just wish that had been the percentage when the Iraq War was foisted on the public as a great thing to do.

  • @Whoo69 its "I couldn't care less"

  • The modern news media draws half its power from coils placed around the spinning in Edward R. Murrow's grave.

  • @aigeanta Sorry to say but Murrow was nothing but a corporate shill like all of the midstream media. Murrow's last 'job' was working for the federal government.

  • keith wanted to butt in - after all he's the successor to edward murrow and walter cronkite

  • There's another good video with Tom Brokaw commenting on mainstream media and poll distortion.

    Look at: /watch?v=iLWTUT2VdrM

Thank you, Tom Brokaw, for stating what the rest of America is thinking: Just let us decided!

  • tom brokaw rules! matthews is a bitch!
