In fact, when you see Janey in present day, she is in middle age while Dr. Manhattan hasn't aged a bit.

What power does the idea of fate really have in the universe? Abstract thoughts here, but then our universe is full of abstractness and paradoxes. This character symbolizes some of the fears of those abstractions. Impressive and deep comic no doubt!
