Playing Intellivision Dungeons & Dragons on an Atari Tempest machine? Love Bill's pulling of the badge on the gamer geeks. O how often I'm sure many of us wished we could do so to a group of WOWers, MAGICers, and the like.
The miniature golf place in the episode "Wizards and Warlocks" is called Sherman Oaks Castle Park and it's located in Sherman Oaks, CA not too far from Encino (which is where it takes place in this episode). A large batting cage was built onto part of the parking lot after this episode was filmed. I recommend Castle Park to anyone who lives in LA or will be visiting the area.
The guy who plays Norman Fackler in this episode is James Whitmore, Jr who has become one of the most active directors of television shows including 24, CSI, NCIS, Quantum Leap and many others. His father, James Whitmore, played Brooks in Shawshank Redemption.
