good strategies in MVC2 involves putting pressure on opponent...it's not about fab combos it's about winning the game. I agree it can difficult to find your way out the strider / doom trap, but sayin clockwork is shit... just wrong
well, you're right, but that Strider / Doom Trap is so annoying. Me and other friends can do that, but the game becomes so boring. I mean that is good to play with different characters oftenly. =D

I knew a guy who was so good at this game (cuz he had his own lil arcade of it, had one of those small japanese cabinets) and was able to kill you any way, with anyone, and manage to keep your dead characters body in the game by juggling it with combos the second one of your guys die.
It was amazing the speed he executed these, because it wasn't down and punch to keep the dead body in, it was literally a combo.
ok i wanna see him play roll/servbot/i dont care who the 3rd is. hes not gonna win. it doesnt matter how good you are, you're not gonna win with roll/servbot/xxx. if hes that good, bet it.

You can win with any character it just takes the right team to secure victory. Planning a team is one thing.....getting to EVO and winning with them is another but surely people have done that already o.O
@Batou2006 Sinity sux. He's just another dime a dozen scrub player no where near the level as Justin. That's why even with a joke team Justin still beat him. I've always been a low-tier character picker and also believed that you can win with any character used in the right team. What I've realized though is that it's still a huge long shot against top-tier characters used by professional players and unless they make a mistake, chances are the result won't be in your favor.
Great match. Clock is great. but you guys know if you put a camera farther, and zoom in, the quality is better. And i think you guys should just get a chair and put it on their =/ io don't like shaky cameras.
I shouldn't have played Megaman - it's a horrible match-up, but too fun NOT to.
DHC to Cable was a fun gamble, but it def. cost me the first match.
I was on an 8-way stick - at the end of the first match I keep trying for Beat Plane but it wasn't coming. Bring your own stick. Clock's stick sucked too, but he's mad better than me.
Second match he breaks my block twice with delayed overheads - nice to see how he did it - I can block most Striders all day.

hardly nobody uses Doom in tournaments except when paired with Strider. You forgot to mention the other god tiers like Storm and Cable.

Strider with the Doom assist becomes very gay. It's a real shame that many stupid kiddies think that those combos are so fab. It's shit!!!
Better try to play with characters like Wolverine, Son Son, Gambit...
