Hi, I was wondering about two things, I hope you can answer me ;-)

1) Low-light shots - Is this camera any good at it or is it too grainy?

2) Is the hand strap really that bad? I read about people hating the thing 'cause it pivots the camera a lot.

1. Yeah low light really isn't good at all. the GS85 has a video light.

2. I haven't had any problems.

I was going for the Panasonic due to budget issues. I have a band and we must have a camera to record our shows. But I don't know, maybe the low-light problem is a common thing with inexpensive miniDV cameras.
