im trying to do this rite now, i added a 1st cement coat yeasterday ( thin watery coat) and today i looked at it and it seems it come offf easly in power form. plz help me out! today i added the little thick layer! plz plz tell me wht did u or wht i should do! and any tips!
can you just paint on the finished product? i made a terrarium background like thiis, but i threw the color in the concrete stuff... looks amazing btw. i think i'll try it like you, because an background the size i need cost more than the tank...
i was curious how the long term sikatop worked out. i used concrete, and it looked fine, but i got algae growing on it and i think it loosened the concrete and it turning to power now, and had places where the styrofoam is visible.
@scttkrkwd Im about to do one myself and just wondering how many coats of cocrete you used on your backround? Dont want the same ting happen to mine thanks.

@starthi you have to water the cement when it dryed ,and keep it wet ,never in a dry place!
