they 'plan to cement the cliffs from top to bottom'????? It's Mother Nature. It's the grand scheme of things. Cliffs and beaches are one of the world's most beautiful and natural elements. Why live next to a 'beach' when all there is is a concrete wall? Madness.
I lived at 320 Esplanade from 1996-1998. We had a bit more distance to the cliff back then (~30ft), but it still felt precarious living at the edge of the continent on a sand/sandstone cliff. But what a view!
