Billy idoL's album 'Cyberpunk' (inspired by William Gibson, Blade Runner, cybermancy, and all that stuff) came out a year before 'Clerks'.
I come from Italy so real different environment, but I remember when I was young I worked in a supermarket and when it was Christmas there were loads of people screaming at each other in front of my place (I was selling fish). Then there was a fight and no one noticed that in that mess a guy took the time to take a huge dump. I am not joking. And finally a guy shouts "Hey, there's poo here!".
this is hilarious to me because my mom always falls asleep when we're watching a movie and I tell her to wake up, and she replies, "I was just resting my eyes." Then she falls back to sleep.

I worked at a Wawa (convenience store) when I was a wee lad and I will never forget the few times we would close for X-mas and the assholes that would show up at closing even though we would have signs up for weeks before. I would say "Sorry, we're closing and I had people giving me the finger and cursing me. It happened every Christmas that I worked there. I'm from Jersey so this movie is almost a documentary for me.

No actually, it was because Kevin Smith had tried shooting the film in colour, but the strong fluorescent lights made the shot look like shit, and he couldn't afford professional lighting and a better camera, so he just stuck to indoor lighting and a b/w handy-cam.
Fuck yeah yo. I love Alice in Chains. They are my favorite band. I think personally that the unplugged version of the song is better. Too bad Layne had to OD. RIP They'd still be back and doing a reunion tour too. So tragic. Speedballing can do ya in, ya know? Such a shame.
