As soon as IW finishes their game they begin development on their new game while Treyarch makes theirs. Just went and checked out the MW3 trailer, and it makes me feel more secure in my position. Even if they are still using the engine from Black Ops the engine looks good, probably controls just fine and has few bugs. It's the game that's under the hood that is the real problem in my opinion.

People like to play online with their friends, talking with their mics, that's the most fun, gathering with friends, and playing a dumb shooter, pass time. I think the engine you make a game on is not so important as long as you make a good game. Just look at Valve, how old is the source engine now? Sure, they have been updating it but I didn't here meany people complaining about crappy graphics when Left 4 Dead came out. If you had a PC that could run HL2 well when it first came out, you can run Portal 2. Then there is stuff like Mine Craft.
Now don't like MW games ether but I don't think it's the engine that is the problem.

I'm actually amazed that it's been able to mkeep going since Modern Warfare 2! I played the first, thought it was absolutely average. I went and watched a handful of videos on a youtuber doing the campaign and multiplayer and just facepalmed myself.

Call of Booty: Black Cocks was absolutely terrible. At least Modern Warfare 1 was pretty good but when the second one came out I got bored super quick.

I thought the original Modern Warfare was good, but after Modern Warfare 2 I quit COD for good. Way too much ridiculous stuff in the multiplayer of that game. Such as being shot with a shotgun from halfway across the map and dieing etc.
Since I do own Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops I do get a little excited over this but still feel like It's just not gonna be that big a difference. Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops play out very different and that's why I got both, because Black Ops seemed different from MW2. But MW3 I think won't be that big a difference and so not worth buying.
My Point is, if you got one CoD game, stay with it because they aint that different really. They are good games, but not very diverse.

Don't mix up popularity with acclaim. A good example of this situation would be Justin Bieber. He sells tremendous amounts of tickets and merchandise but is unanimously disliked.

Yep, same QUAKE 3! engine they've modified years ago, maybe with a few tweaks, but nothing major. I'm sick of shooters tbh =X . The only shooter I'm going to play this year is Duke Nukem Forever, just because I loved 3D back in the day and still finished it not so long ago, I can say it was way more fun than the bullshit FPSs that have been coming out... I also played blood a few months ago, now that's the shooters they should be making, it would be a breath of fresh air!
I was a die hard fan of Call of Duty until MW2 came out, then I started just getting bored of the same exact gameplay. In my views, the game is still the same exact game as the original Call of Duty, I really don't see difference between all of them except graphics and guns. So I just basically got tired of it, in my opinion more people are going to realize what I'm talking about and Call of Duty will lose it's momentum, unless Activision starts taking more time into their Call of Duty releases.
They technically do make a new COD game every 2 years, IW releases one game, Then Treyarch releases one game the next. For example, IW has been working on MW3 since the release of MW2, and Treyarch had been working on Black Ops since they released World At War. Two different companies making a game in 2 years but they way their schedules are set up, they can release a new COD every year. I thought everyone knew this by now.

It's obvious that there just regurgitating the same product over and over again claiming to have made a whole new game. But most CoD fans only really care for new online play and maps... So i guess things like a good storyline and engine are moot.

what you said was true but i think black ops evolved even if just a little in comparison to the previous games, if it wasnt for the claymore spam, everyone using ghost or flak jacked and the poor net code i bet people still would play it hardcore, even more to what they play or what everyone thinks they play today lol, but yeah part of me is still curious about mw3 though. =)

Yep, same QUAKE 3! engine they've modified years ago, maybe with a few tweaks, but nothing major. I'm sick of shooters tbh =X . The only shooter I'm going to play this year is Duke Nukem Forever, just because I loved 3D back in the day and still finished it not so long ago, I can say it was way more fun than the bullshit FPSs that have been coming out... I also played blood a few months ago, now that's the shooters they should be making, it would be a breath of fresh air!

I was a die hard fan of Call of Duty until MW2 came out, then I started just getting bored of the same exact gameplay. In my views, the game is still the same exact game as the original Call of Duty, I really don't see difference between all of them except graphics and guns. So I just basically got tired of it, in my opinion more people are going to realize what I'm talking about and Call of Duty will lose it's momentum, unless Activision starts taking more time into their Call of Duty releases.

They technically do make a new COD game every 2 years, IW releases one game, Then Treyarch releases one game the next. For example, IW has been working on MW3 since the release of MW2, and Treyarch had been working on Black Ops since they released World At War. Two different companies making a game in 2 years but they way their schedules are set up, they can release a new COD every year. I thought everyone knew this by now.

Though I'm sure the consumers will EVENTUALLY learn; even though CoD is the biggest thing at the moment (unfortunately), a yearly installment that has barely changed anything since the fourth game can't be too good for the long run. Eh, I'll go back to enjoying LA Noire now :-D.

2 Different studio's develop the game. And the trailer didn't really show much, such as the new online multiplayer features, so you cant really say anything about that. I really like your channel and your opinions, but I think you really just hating this time.
