  • These guys came in with such an amazing, heavy sound back in the early '80s. Still sounds so good.

  • La mejor canción de la primera etapa de Bad Religion!

  • my gf got me this album for christmas :]

  • Not trying to be a dick, but: I'm a dick. "You're hoping for relief, cause your head is filled with grief" is how it goes. but yeah killer song

  • this was back in the 80's it was also on some ones gotta get there head to believe in something...

  • This is, by far, their best song. No bullsiht, just feelings...

  • The song is called "into the night" :)

  • @dunjak111 according to..? wikipedia says in-the

  • @cuntsound

...accoring to my tape "Bad Religion 80-85"

Just search for the CD cover on google... It says the same.

  • PS:

On the album "How could hell be any worse" it is called "In the night"

Yet, on "Bad Religion 80-85" it is called "Into the night"

Well, maybe you "won", as "How could hell be any worse" was released first ;)

  • @dunjak111 didn't know that. It's part of the HCHBAW album playlist, so it's ok I guess. Still, interesting.

  • Danke, Danke, Danke!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks for posting. got good memories of this album, and I had every single word memorized when I was 13.

This was the record my christian aunt tried to have taken away from me...

  • The most INTENSE Punk album of ALL TIME.

    The lyrics are Epic .

  • i feel like this song when i listen to it.

  • man i feel sick when ppl talk trash about these guys, they invented punk hardcore with couple other bands they kept the scene alive and kicking until mid nineties, people say shit about them but they did their scene they created a new sound, unique one by the way, they give their best witch was amazing mind blowing sound and now its this generations time, if they cant do shit, well maybe the critics belong with them: they cant do shit or even touching the same level as 15 year olds in 1980

  • @badsign1980 - this album is good, but for the record, they didn't "invent" jack fucken shit.

  • @GodHatesQuags I don't know, man. Bad Religion created a sound that shitloads of people followed when they released Suffer. I'd say just about all the Southern California sounds of the late eighties and early nineties owe almost everything to Bad Religion. I'll agree their first wave of hardcore stuff in the early eighties was solid, but not ground breaking. But Suffer, No Control, Generator, and Against the Grain were hugely influential.

  • @dpetley agree

  • Heard this for the first time on Rodney's show, probably the month it came out. Life changing.

  • @epochoso

how could hell be any worse came out in 82 im sure you would had owned it by then if you were huge fans and now u have access to a shit load of great non mainstream music you listen to nirvana radiohead and foo fighters jesus christ

  • this songs called into the night

  • nany thanx, last time I hear was a very bad copy on the tape, sounds better :-)

  • My band and I covered this song back in 88, we loved BR but you either had to find an album or tape , with no internet or any other way to access non mainstream music. i haven't actually heard the original for years, thanks for posting.

  • nice br song , sad u dont hear music this good nowadays

  • oldshool punk 4-ever

    bad religion 4-ever !!

  • 80's bad religon rocks my socks, the new is good but the old is the best

  • Naaah... The new stuff isn't punk, well actually it isn't even music... They sold out ages ago, deal with it....

  • @koivuthehab

    i agree

they sound so fuking generic now ,i saw them live i was so excited, when i got there i was wondering why i didnt just pop in the 80-85 cd and sit at home, honestly no energy was coming from the stage and dont give me crap about "o because they are old" the casualties at the very least do some preforming i didnt come to hear music the exact same way its played on the album, it was one of the biggest let downs since fruit stripe gum :3

  • @TheFacelessK They should never have disavowed the second album in my opinion. They've been chasing a ghost for quite some time, though they have come up with a fair song or two in the interim.

  • i know u might say a few songs are okay but its nothing really great its like listening to the stooges and iggy pops later stuff just doesnt compare

  • Or is it goodbye?

  • ? sPam ?

  • aaaaaggghhh!!! IN THE NIGHT! thanks for posting the album! best BR without a doubt!

  • what are you guys like 15 ...sure sounds like it oldschool drunkpunk

  • best BR song EVER!!!! I mean it, when i first saw that there was an "80-85" album I nearly shit my pants! the little bass part at the end is SO AWESOME!!!

  • just hearing this album made me shit myself,ha ha.

no other bad religion album is as good as this

  • Same here. This song is just the tits.

  • nah this song is better than tits...wait no its not ah ha..........but is just as good

  • this is my favorite song by them

  • tied for my favorite on how could "hell be any worse" with the voice of god is government

  • In the night you, jaded eyes, IN THE NIGHT!!!

    I love this song, seriously

  • the very beginning sounds like "Sonic Reducer" by The Dead Boys. not that thats a bad thing. BR KICKS ASS!!

  • Their best record ever, reminds me of my teenage.

  • The bass at the end is fantastic

  • after allot of consideration, this is deffenately my favorite Bad Religion song...

  • Fuckin-A comrade.

  • nice! wish i still had my scratchy old vinyl. 2 FUN

  • Ova je dobra..

  • i like this bad religion not when they went soft

  • I don't think it's fair to say that they went soft, they did change their sound but their music now has much more musical substance than their old stuff. I do love the old albums but people need to judge each of their albums on its own merits.

  • i think there very talented still, i think there new stuff is good in a music sense, but there old stuff is just amazing
