Alright, for any of you interensted, i began the process of filming a sequel of sorts at an HD resoultion, and it put my editing sysyem on its knees, so im looking to make an alternative in the programming, but it is a work in progress
k, to do the recording, i used the program battledirector, which you can download from The Sir Community website. it takes the annoying nametags and stuff off. i used fraps to record the indivdual clips in battlerecorder. then i used sony vegas 8.0 to add the red color and all the other effects
I agree with ChaplainDMK - In my opinion it would be better, like Chaplain said, to film the video with BF2: Special Forces. It would be more great - If i could prefer a map it would be Night Flight cause its Dark and the SAS is wearing black clothes killing teorrists. It would be great. And maybe then with a silenced gun ;) 4 starts.

If u noticed, there are only 2 ppl on @ 1 time, me and my brother, so if we had other ppl that like BF2 and want to be a part of the whole BF2 video scene, id rly help

The second music is from Half-Life 2: Episode 2 in the last fight of the game where you have to defend the rocket from striders and hunters. Song's name is Last Legs.
yea, I loved that game as a kid, and i saw som1 use them in another BF2 vid, so i used them as dialogue, if u wanna call it that. definitley better than making my own voiceovers
this is a good vid. bf2 is a fuckin awesome game, still is after all these years. the color is fucking good in this and ur vid is tight. i fucking love this game i wish i had a better computer to play it on the max graphics
4/5 It dragged on way to long. I was bored 2 minutes in so I went to the end. Less slow motion more action. The ending scene took forever. It should have went faster and taken up more space(like chasing wise).

BUT. it's full of oxymorons. if this is a lone worf who are he talking to on radio? if he shouldn't be detected why are he blowing up things and shooting on everyone in sight? If the assasination must look like accident, why he chasing the guy whit the gun after he failed? Change the text at the begin and this will be excelent.

1. By lone wolf, i meant it was just him attempting the assassination of Sa'ir. The radio was put in just to add some dialog, otherwise it would be boring for even me to watch.
2. The shooting was to make a distraction for Anyone guarding Sa'ir. It prob wasn't the best idea, but i thought it would look cool.
3. The whole thing About the accident has to do with deleted scenes. In the initial script, lone wolf (it is not the guys name, just the way he went in w/o anyone else) Puts c4 on the jeep that gets parked, butthe Sa'ir gets into a different jeep. there was no easy way to convey this to the viewers, so i cut it out completely. It is a major flaw.

I grew up with that game, and the voices are fairly easy to get your hands on, so it was a simple decision to use them instead of making korny dialogue.
There's nothing wrong with that, GR1 was one of the best FPS games ever and the radio communication was great so it was kind of cool to hear them in BF2.
i cant do the move files thing with [BF2142/BF2 Location]\mods\[modname]\demos\, its really anoying! cause im tryin to use battledirector, and i dont get that moving files thing its SO ANOYING SOMBODY HELP!!!!!!!!!!
I cut out a scene where he plants c4 on the jeep while the jeep to was parked. waht was supposed to happen next was that he set explosives on the road to blow up Sa'ir's jeep, but it was hard to convey the fact thatit wasn't his target in the jeep, so i just cut the whole sequence out.
Also your camera shots are a little sloppy at some points and the music needs to be lowered so we can really hear the sound effects. Overall good story i enjoyed it. Some shots were a bit too long and could've been made shorter to make the film more exciting. But yeah overall i give it 4/5 stars good work and keep it up.
You asked for my comments on this video and i finally managed to find your message among my many i have recieved. Now to be honest, you need to subtract some of the fade effects you added. I had made the same mistake with my "Operation Clean Sweep" film. It may look good with the music, but it just is too much. I like the lighting, really gives it a good effects. The voice overs are good but not enough of them.

yea, it was something i wanted to prevent people from getting bored. maybe he just liked the smell of explosive liquids. yea, i rly don't know anything i can do abut the camera. I don't know if people like the static cameras that don't move. or if they like the moving ones and think it's shaky.
yea, i know. thats 1 thing i definitely have to fix. i try to keep a mix between the static camera shots that dont move and the ones that move and show different angles.
its really cool but the way the guy moves makes it look so unrealistic like walking up the steps ussualy you would crouch down at the point of going up the steps check if there is anyone and if not go on not just run up but its still cool!!

I've got something i want to suggest, maybe at the start where there is text informing us on what he is doing and where. Why not make it like like a briefing for lone wolf and not for us. For example say like "your assignment today is bla bla bla, if you are discovered or fail the mission america or "whichever country" will deny any involvement. More like a briefing for him instead of us. Thats just my suggestion. If you dont like it its fine. (:

Nice film! Theres only some small issues. Like if hes not allowed to be detected how come he dosnt have a muffler choose a weapon that atleast looks like it has one. And if you do a stopmotion while zooming in like that you get a waay better effect :) Please come whit more films :D
Thx, i'll have to look for some bf2 weapon packs, maybe i could find a silenced m4. the reason i didnt use the silenced pistol is that if ur sent to assassinate a man in a syrain city with milita defending the guy, you'd prob have 2 be pretty dumb to just use a pistol. i mingt try Project reality, a realsim mod for BF2.
I'll be sure to check them out. it was the first time i've use saturarion effects and color correctors, so im still geting down the right formula for the effects. i'll be sure to take out some of the orange saturation next time.

I had recently got the audio surf (which comes with the orange box soundtrack), so i used mainly Half-Life 1 music.

I know, it's just a movie and in a movie, it's never impossible, but...the u.s army guy is such lucky : The arabs were just SUCK !
exemple : the first arabs who have been kill, he just stay near the explosive barrel and don't move, normally he wouldn't do this !
Such a good movie, well done even if the camera use can be implore and it's can be more realistic.
