agree with ntigravty yes indeed, don't use metal coz magnet attracts it basicly just slowing ur engine down

@bphilow Something that is patented doesn't really need to work you know. And the patent system of america is screwed up. You can patend almost anything in the states. Glad we don't have that in europe....

The aluminum plate is going to prevent the pusher magnet to propel the disk. The magnet will induce a current in the aluminum plate acting like a brake. This will make the rotation a lot slower. Using a plastic plate would work better.
