  • I think they should say "if i dont I will cut off one of my fingers". When a Politician goes against his/her oath it should be handled the same way a Doctor or Lawyer is treated for malpractice. They all take an oath to follow the constitution, so therefore when a law like the "Patriot Act" or the "War Powers Resolution" is passed, which are both unlawful according to the constitution, Those who voted in favor should be impeached.

  • "error prone O'Reilly Factor" that is the understatement of the year.

  • Nixon swore on two Bibles, look how well he served the Constitution (compensating for a guilty conscience?). John Quincy Adams swore on a law book and as far as I'm aware he actually bothered to abide by it as well!

  • i think making it something like "so i swear" would be much better, even if you are religious...it just sounds better to me :)

  • George Washington was amongst the atheists of the founding fathers. there's no way he and the others would have decided to have so help me god in the inauguration

  • Damn. How hasn't Fox News been taken off the air yet?

  • @TheDobligator Here's why...

"FOX asserted that there are no written rules against distorting news in the media. They argued that, under the First Amendment, broadcasters have the right to lie or deliberately distort news reports on public airwaves." - dailykos com

"In it's opinion, the Court of Appeal held that the Federal Communications Commission position against news distortion is only a 'policy,' not a promulgated law, rule, or regulation." - organicconsumersDOTorg

  • @YY4Me133 But I mean why does it still have viewers?

  • @TheDobligator You asked why it hadn't been "taken" off the air yet, so I thought you were asking why it still has a license to broadcast. I can only speculate as to why people watch it, but there are probably lots of reasons. Some people probably believe the lies because they confirm what they already believe. Some Fox viewers have told me that the info I posted about the court case are my "opinion," as though I made it up. I guess some people don't mind being lied to if it suits their agenda.

  • I like your videos, but I gotta ask, in regards to your first question, what kind of half-baked, dumb ass question is that? "Is it not okay for news stations to neglect to give all the facts and lie to thier viewers?" That's not even a question, it's a statement. XD

  • The day that U.S. presidents stop saying "So help me God" in their oath is the day the U.S. would go down, in flames =)

  • Its true that George Washington added it "so help me god". Every single president since GW has said those four words, so where else could it have come from? Washington set every precedent we have for the presidency today. How does saying "so help me god" at the end of the oath contradict the constitution?

  • @apnwahoowa

you claim every president since Washington said it. Based on that statement, couldn't Jhon Adams (the second president) have added the line?

  • @starchores Oh come on be reasonable please. You know what I meant.

  • When people take an oath, it is best that they claim on what they truly believe. For example: if you have a Muslim swear in on a Christian bible, what's it to him if he decides to break the oath? Let him swear on a Quran!

  • @Numbuh7 Also please note I'm not talking about any particular person, just different religious (or lack of religious) beliefs. ^^'

  • There was one President who took the oath without "swearing": John Tyler. Who went on to betray his oath by being elected to a "country's"(the Confederate States of America)congress, from Texas. He didn't serve only because he died before he could take his seat. Both Quaker Presidents (Hoover and Nixon)took an oath, even though their religion usually has its members affirm, not swear. And the cheering is stupid; you can't be "fair and balanced" yourself if you're cheering for one side.

  • I believe it should be optional to say "so help me god". If they want to, go ahead! But by the same token, it should not be mandatory nor should the president come under fire for not saying them, or adjusted them to fit their personal belief (ie: "so help me Goddess, so help me Shiva, so help me (gah! heaven forbid) so help me Allah")

  • @AvalonDraconis to be blunt, unless America makes some radical changes over the next few generations noone but a christian (in the eyes of the voters) will ever be giving an inaugural oath. I know its unconstitutional, and it irritates the hell out of me, but his/her religion would come into question during the campaign (much like Obama's did) and they would be drummed out by the right wing (which now exists solely because of christian fundamentalists). What a redneck country we are >.<

  • @matthew64012 Unfortunetly, you are correct. As I mentioned, if a person wished to work their faith into their faith, then I don't see a problem with that. I just think that is sad that a lot of the American public would throw a hissy-fit if anyone other than a devout Christian were to take office.

  • The debate over whether or not George Washington said "so help me God" kind of misses the point.

Even if he did say it, he did not ADD the words to the oath - they are words uttered AFTER the oath.

The words of the oath are provided in the Constitution. To "add" the words "so help me God" to the oath requires amending the Constitution. George Washington, as revered as he was, had no power to change the Constitution simply by invoking the deity. Nor does Fox News.

  • i think fox shouldn't have made such a big deal about the "so help me god" thing. if any point should be made about it, it's that presidents shouldn't even have to mention god cuz the u.s. is supposed to be a country where there is freedom of religion. obama only mentioned it so he'd look good to all the god-lovers out there. if obama didn't mention god, then he'd get attacked for it. let's face it, if you don't claim to believe in jesus, u have very slim chances of becoming president.

  • Your questions are all slanted at the end of your videos... fun

  • @LiberalViewer

I don't think she was lying just misinformed.I read the add-lib story in a book on American history so until today I thought it was true.

On the other hand Fox could very well report it as true even if they new it was false but if you stick to the ones where you catch them red handed there's still hundreds of story's about Fox :)

  • Yea the media puts on this show of fighting each other sometimes. Different media fights with each other. Whatever. They don't disagree on as much as you think. All that their constant hangups on stuff just stirs that pot. It keeps americans thinking with their emotions, instead of their head. No other country can possibly be this stupid. I am sorry if I go to far, but it's all clear now. It's hard for me to simply conform and be passive. U all want to be ur own god but... lol. u do a shit job.

  • Facts about God from the devil (fox news)

Doesn't everyone know...? the bush family has control in the fox news corporation.

"by your works you will know them" -bible

uh, bush is a bad man. Pretty much the whole bush family is no good (mild words).

Why would you trust another mouthpeice of satan? (fox news) All the founders didn't believe in God nor care for everything that was right. Country was run by evil men from the beginning. Don't be so surprised they give haters somethin to chat on.

  • ..George W. Bush said 'So help me God" in his 2001 inauguration..check it out..

  • im confused, why would anyone give a shit what he said?

  • so help me religious blonde bitch

  • I think you're a cornholing liberal shit that hates FOX news. I decided you're just another of millions of minority online liberal bloggers that splatter shit around to make themselves feel better.

So help YOU God. ..Godless moron.

  • @007CTHULHU007 "millions" -> minority? :-)

Good luck with your god! May he smite me and Liberalviewer down right now! I'm waiting!

  • @artafox ugh... I don't even know what this is about but, how many times do I have to hear this on utube... :/

If you knew anything, ud know God wouldn't create all these beings with free will and just strike ppl down... sure yea if your no good... you are less important in the grand scheme of things. But if he just smited you... how f'd would that be. He's finding everyone out, u are testing them, and they will join u or prevail... which is right. Where is the glory in winning w/o trying?

  • OBAMA=SOCIALISM=NO RELIGION that's what Brag Hussein Osama is about. However people don't see this because they are BLIND and deceived by the devil and this prick.

  • shut the fuck up u idiot.

  • MY GOD!!!!! YOU ARE PATHETIC!!!!!! And keep indoctronating those kids in your intro!! You should spend as much time reporting the liberal media"s left wing bias as you do reporting on Fox,then I might gain respect for what you do.All you do is bash opposing views! YOU ARE VERY BIASED! pot calling the kettle black.

  • @ohiosidetracker A herpin derp derp. Everything he said in this video was completely valid. Either escape your psychopathic delusions and admit the truth or provide the reason and evidence for this YouTuber's mistake. Don't cry like a child.

  • Faux News is FUCKING STUPID

  • I hate brack hussein obama!

  • @2bpilot "So help me god" is an escape clause the religious use to violate Constitutional Law.

All they need to do is claim our society's laws coflict with their faith to say they have just reason to ignore them. Like how Blasphomy laws somehow get on to various state law books dispite violating the 1st amendment and having applications to violate article 6. These parts of the Constitution are written to prevent such abuse.

  • When I saw this douchebag not cover his heart but insted grab his feeble gay nutsack on the Star Spangled banner I knew we had a fuckup out to get us.

  • Sounds like a bunch of athiests God should be the ceter focus of this land that is torn apart by people like the liberal viewer.

  • @ramonkey0807 No "your made up authority figure" should not be center focus!

No American can be held duty bound to acknowedge "your made up authority figure" as a prerequist to do what all Americans can do. Be on a Jury, an army officer, a cop, president, citizen, etc.; all are protected from the use of religious tests.

  • All that shit was added in the 20th century, 50s about.

    In god we trust

one nation under god on the 1 dollar bill.

    Thats not constitutional

  • The problem with the ACLU is that they are NOT equal defenders of individual liberty. They pick and choose WHICH liberties they like and which ones they don't like. For example, I want to be free from having to pay for entitlement programs. But the ACLU is not out there fighting for the right of individuals like me to be free from having to pay for these inefficient and unconstitutional entitlement programs.

  • In God we trust

  • Idiots who voted for Obama will pay.

  • So help me Capitalism

  • Comment removed

  • Read Washington's farewell address. It has been scrubbed of 4 spititual warnings.

Original copies are available Library of Congress. Did you know the ACLU was the recruiting front for the Communist party in the 1930's and shared an Office. I wouldn't them to take out my garbage. The 1947 supreme court that changed the definition of God in the constitution were progressive's and traitors.

  • George Washington did say "So Help Me God" adlib, It was never added to the oath on paper but every president since has repeated it. You Obviously have not read any of founders writings and the Federalist papers on the constitution or Washingtons own writings. The revisionist history you refer to started in the 1920's with the progressive movement. do your research.

  • She looks so excited about it on 1:20 that I pissed a little in fear.

  • The word God is a Title; Obama didn't use God's name, so we don't really know which God He was referring to. In hi acceptance speech he makes a statement and every time he follows it with "yes we can" When you play it backwards it reveals who his God is. These things are revealed to the Elect only. A non believer won't be able to believe it is real. "sometimes words have two meanings" God confounded the language to stop men from being able to take over the whole world; or at least postpone it.

  • so help me unicorn.

  • Poll: Why did YOU vote for Obama?

  • Who cares about George Washington and what he said. It's not like his example his binding on any thinking being. "Strictly following the constition" is clearly not a feasible argument however!

  • It's a tradition.

  • tradition is a terrible argument, it's traditional to enslave black people but that is clearly wrong tradition is the weakest argument ever.

  • So don't say "So help me God" anymore. The bug up your ass will surely die then.

  • great argument

  • i hate the aclu

  • your vote is no obsolete. THSNKS SUPREME COURT!!!!

  • You are all missing the point, fox news does this because they CAN, noone is stopping them, do you think it matters to them what a million youtube viewers distributed amongs liberal countries, maybe a majority of them being american, think?

Of the X people that saw that fox news clip live, how many do you actually think doubted her words? A very very very small percentage. Calling out her bluff on a medium smaller than the one fox has (>>> viewers) is not productive.

  • It is those who don't believe in God, something which contradicts all science and logic, that are mentally challenged? Oh the irony. Why would God send non-believers to hell, isn't he supposed to be compassionate and forgiving, not self-righteous. Surely he would know being omniscient, that a large number of kind, tolerant people would not believe in him when his existence contradicts all logic, and would therefore leave some sort of evidence to suggest he does exist, to save us all from hell?

  • @chloebax1 My point was that, why are people making a big deal over "so help me God"? If you dont believe in God then it shouldnt affect you at all. I do want to take back the "mentally challenged" part. THat was not needed.

And yes if you dont beleive in God or Heaven, you will not go to heaven, that leaves purgitory, and hell. Purgitory are for those who die and need to repent longer for there sins.

  • whats so wrong about it? not to long ago southerners said whats so bad about owning a slave it helps our economy, whats so bad about women not getting the right to vote? whats so bad ignoreing the constituiton when its shoved in our face but when it works in our favor i will listen to it and obey it? whats so bad about devatiting from what our forefathers wanted and dreamed about and risked there lives for? whats so bad? you go and have your bible im going to stick with the U.S. constitution!

  • ok i never said anything about slaves and women. that has nothing to do with this. all im saying is how are people getting mad about this? hes a christian! just everybody needs to chill out.

  • He did. His name is Jesus Christ. He died and rose. isnt that enough proof? And yes again i was rude before. sory. im just saying is if you dont beleive in God, why do you need to attack those who do? its in the constitution to have freedom of religion speech and press.

  • Freedom of speech, no?

  • Mentally challenged? Define mentally challenged. You insist on believing (most likely dogmatically) in something there is no scientific evidence for and I'm sure you've never seen, even though there are countless other religions which have all believed in gods, and since they can't all be right and they evolved in different parts of the world, it just proves that there is an inbuilt human tendency to believe in gods, not to mention that a god makes no logical sense. Get some critical thinking.

  • If I'm mentally challenged because I don't believe in something that there's not a SHRED of non-anecdotal scientific evidence for, well, then it's opposite day and you're the smartest fucker I know.

  • ok 1st off i took back the menatally challenged part, so shut up about that. and why do you need to comment twice? and why also do you insist on calling me a fucker? your the fucker who thinks he or her (idk) is big and bad because you can call me names over the internet. ohman your so cool, i wish i could be just like you. have fun in hell. ; )

  • Well, aren't you just precious? It's adorable to see a 26 year old reduced to 2nd grade name calling and empty threats.

  • wait, are you talking about me?

  • You're making me laugh.

Hold on a second.... *stifles laughter*... okay.

    Hell doesn't exist. Dumbass.

You have committed the sin of stupidity and the Great Wishing Troll isn't pleased. After you die you will spend the remainder of your existence in eternal agony. Have fun in Bizarro Cowboy Salt Dimension.

    *stifles laughter*

And don't tell me the Great Wishing Troll doesn't exist. I read it in a book that He authored.

Only the true believers will ascend to Popcorn Palace.

  • lol. ok, ok, i get where you are coming from. i understand that yeah, somtimes i think about my faith and i cant explain it. but i was raised into it and there is just too much that happens that cant be explained. you cant prove God is real, but on the other side you cant disprove God is real either.

  • No, you're wrong. The Great Wishing Troll said that He is the only god. But you can't disprove the existence of the Great Wishing Troll, so therefore I believe. Why risk going to Bizarro Cowboy Salt Dimension?

  • well fox is a right winged network, man

theyre always for the mindless populous religious part of the USA

  • Go fuck yourself

  • @angelandsaint

Our country was founded on a principle of secular government. Many of the founding fathers were not christian, Jeferson a Deist, James Madison an atheist, Benjamin Franklin an atheist; but none of that matters. What matters is that, regardless of their religious belief, they wanted the government to be separated from religion, and the insertion of god into the pledge of allegiance and onto our money directly violates both that wish and the first amendment,

  • @andrewjones232 my friend where is your black and white papers that these persons are atheist ,look at their respective names have a christian names and jewish name ,how foolish you are,you just saw it in the movies in national treasure i think..btw,none of us cant tell what they re minds are but i think in the last minute of their respective live they mention the name GOd or even Jesus "ill gave my soul in your hands. even darwin in his final breath he surrender his soul to God.

  • Like it or not, our country was founded on Christian principles. Does that offend you? Do not lie, cheat, steal, murder-these are all principles every man of every faith can embrace without it becoming dogma. On that I can agree with an athiest, a Christian, and any other religious individual. Where I have the heartache is that so many people are offended by those four words. Guess what? Our President is Christian! Why should he NOT have the opportunity to say those four words?

  • 2:09 sounded robotic Lol..

  • If FOX said it, it didn't happen. Washington saying "So help me god", Dubya winning the first elections and so on and so on. Why are you even surprized? :-)

  • Such a big deal for such a small sentence honestly?

  • yeah it should be

and it is and ill tell u why

because this is not a religious ritual, did u get that?

and it also makes those who dont believe in god(not superstitious so to speak) 2nd class citizens.

  • ure defending a blond bimbo on an american network with no evidence, congratulations. your a retard

  • @lewismurray1 it's you're

  • @SWNRankings You should start your sentence with a capital letter and end it with a full stop.

  • @kinbigbird I cannot condone an illegal activity, I would suggest following all legal avenues to address your grievances. Now, that being said, I support your sentiment 100%. It is a travesty of justice that so many have given so much to protect the right of free beliefs, only to have those who were protected turn and try to take away the rights of others.

  • Does Fox News EVER honestly report ANYTHING?

Their a propaganda network. Saying they lie and distort is like saying the sky is blue. Lying is their JOB at Fox News.

Although if I'd ever conquer this planet I'd do an inauguration that'd me more like 'Inferior primates! I'm your new overlord, and no god can help you against my wrath if I so choose o lay it upon you! Bwahahaha!'

    More fun right?

  • 'Columbia' & goddess of Liberty are names the masons (satan worshipers) us for the female form of satan.

When the Vice president, senators & representatives swear in, they say, at the end, "Hail Columbia", which means, "Praise Satan."

God haters fail to realize that the satan lovers are in power, and teach against God. Only the wise seem to find their way through the fog.

  • Many offices do require individuals to say "so help me God," like judges. Whether Washington uttered these words or not is irrelevant. If an in-coming president wants to include these words, and most have, including all since Roosevelt he should be allowed. That is what freedom of religion is about. But if it was up to many atheists, no religious adherents would be allowed to be president or hold any public position. In fact, most atheists would probably have religious believers locked up.

  • Freedom of religion also includes freedom of no religion. Atheists shouldn't be slandered in public.

  • I'm glad you can speak for most atheists, ChristianMission

  • Oh shut up you fool.

You Christians are not so peaceful - ever heard of the crusades?

Read the bible - God demands the death of homosexuals, mothers outside of marriage, non-believers - and asks you to stone your son if he is unruly. Yeah, thats really "light" isn't it?

Your god is vile - wake up and stop believing in bronze age ideals.

And don't come back with "it was OT stuff" - because Jesus actually agreed with the OT. Read Matthew - he says it there.

  • "In fact, most atheists would probably have religious believers locked up. "

You are mistaken - Atheists want religion to stop interfering with human progress, and some want it outlawed.

Christians, imo can believe what they want, but stay out of politics and stop calling Atheists sinners!

Giving reward for belief in the face of evidence to the contrary, but declaring people sinners if they wake up and realise its a lie? Thats a bad system imo.

  • ye I would probably have you locked up. and of course this KnowJesus guy though I do wonder how he knows a a 2000 year old corpse and what that does for him. No I would have you two locked up in a mental facility until you achieve sanity.

  • I notice that Fox usually quotes simple, but erroneous 'facts' from history using one of thier 2 or 3 Blonde Bimbos, who say it calmly with a smile.

    Or Malkin.

  • I loved Obama till i did some research. Got 1st job from Kissinger. Member of skull and bones. related to both george bush and dick cheney. He is a puppet for The New World Order. He has been hand picked by the elite as the magical frontman. Research William Cooper. The Bilderberg group. Obama is a member of The Bohemian Grove. Research his secret background. He's a 32 degree freemason. My heart was shattered when I found the truth. Please research the Amero - The North American Union

  • there are only 1 or 2 presidents in history who haven't been in a secret socioty and both of them didn't even get to serve one year with out being assassinated

  • Interesting. JFK died one week after vowing to expose any one in government with secret agendas. Supposedly, that is the speech he was to deliver before he died.

  • So help me somebody.

  • Comment removed

  • Under God in the pledge of allegiance was added in the 1950's....

  • Your logic = fail.

  • Lol.

LiberalViewer has dealt with constitutional law in the past and I garuantee that he has a much greater body of knowledge when it comes to the constitution than yourself.

    Oh no we are divisible.

  • Fox news got that fact from wikipedia... that's good journalism, right?

  • The basic definition of conservatism is keeping to tradition, not changing things to much. That makes it extremely hypocritical for conservative pundits to link themselves with the teachings of Jesus Christ or the Founding Fathers. By any accepted definition both the Founding Fathers and Jesus Christ were flaming, raging liberals.

  • like carlin said, " its a big club, and you aint in it."

  • Liberals and Conservatives are both so off base and are only interested in their own agendas... its like sports teams rivals - neither side really cares about the interests of the American people... wake up yall...

  • The neat thing about LiberalViewer though, is that he has a very strong interest in journalistic ethics. There is of course something of merit in that, and I am much better swayed by his opinions when they are so well represented and prepared.

  • not actually. conservatives only take care of themselves and others like them.

liberals fight for, besides themselves, many other cultures, nations, etc

  • True!!

  • The answer to your last question is, I'm certain, quite obvious to you by now. Fox cares MUCH more about pandering to their demographic than balance. Sadly this is true of most news networks, but it's obvious to the point of being disgusting in Fox News.

  • lol @ scientology ad during this vid... Why not play an ad for chocolate during a weight loss vid rofl

  • Why can't the religious stay away from attacking Atheists and vice versa?

  • I respect athiests. I understand why you feel the way you do, and I'm sorry that Fox news are the way they are. And I'm sorry that I defended them. All I ask is that your not so hard on us believers that have nothing to do with the government in a direct way. My belief in God is my personal choice. I am not brainwashed, or made to believe in him as a child. I actually only really became a believer in my senior year in Highschool. My parents are both athiests.

  • I personally believe that the government should be a little more excepting of non religious views and not look at them as a negative stand point. I honestly don't understand that. We are all tax payers and deserve equal rights. And equal say in government dealings. Seperation of Church and State is a must. My personal view on that is, Government buildings should be Christmas free. Howabout just putting up snow flakes and play george Winston music. Like the four seasons.

  • 4 Idelogical and political puposes

  • It's all right; we only attack those who attack us. "Noone attacks me without punishment" as Edgar Allen Poe wrote. ;)

  • Now why would I get erased for just speaking my mind ? This getting a little one sided U Tube. You erase me, because I disagree with some of these people ? Whats up with that ?

  • I appriciate your acceptence that fox id very biased against atheism so often on these boards u have the kool aid drinkers that think any kind of critism of their party news or beliefe systems means u are an idelog.I dont have a problem with belivers my whole family are. My problem is with a country that prides its self on freedom (of religon) but seems to be so scared of people actually exersizing those right. I think we could agree that there is no war on religon in this country just hype

  • I think the reason that some believers(Christians especially) are scared of people exercising their athiesm, is maybe they feel like it's a defeat on their part on bringing people to God. It's considered a failure to them simply because, what the bible teaches is to bring people to Christ. When people are strong in what they believe like athiesm, I think the Christians take it personally as maybe they aren't strong enouph to change the opinion and they just don't know how to handle rejection.

  • We are a free religious nation

Meaning everyone in America is entitled to worship or not worship any god or deity they see fit.

Saying "God" implies Christian religions and clearly shows a biased towards them when in fact America is about letting others worship and not imposing ones religion over another.

  • @mhunt300 ridiculous. The word GOD does not show any bias towards Christianity. The Muslim religion uses the word God interchangeably with Allah to describe their supreme being, and the Jews call their supreme being God as well. There is no evidence to say that by speaking the phrase "So Help Me God," you are endorsing any religion over the other, as God is a term used in many religions to describe the/a supreme being(s).

  • @TheRealDarkSpark To say "God" in any form endorses a religion, whereas some people don't believe in a God. To say "God" ignores buddhism and hinduism. So you have narrowed down freedom to worship or not worship to judeo-christian beliefs only. I agree that God sometimes is often believed to only be christian when in fact it isn't, I don't think the spirit of including it most times is to insist on christian beliefs only.

  • "MAYBE Fox added the 'Pro-God' facts because we are a religious nation. If we live by no rules or morality, then we are doomed." your statements about religion seem to state that religion and only religion give people moral values. this is completely false. i have a good mother and a good father that have taught me very well without religion. also, the united states have things called "laws", these laws provide the so-called rules that you say that religion and religion alone provides.

  • you know I have tried for so long to get that across to believers. Clearly morals come from something other than religion. I'm proof of that. I'm atheist and I have morals. Logic would dictate that since I didn't get them from religion then I must have gotten them in some other way. How I got them, I don't know. Why is that so hard for them to understand.

  • tell the christians that their god put them inside you. That'll shut them up :)

  • I dont belive nations hold religious values there are many different people in this nation that hold many diffrent values. People like to say this is a christian nation. I dont belive this to be true. Most self aspoused christians dont even understand christianity or adhere to its values.

  • Lol. I think evangilistic Christians are some of the most hypacritical people on earth. " Love your enemys" Yet, if an athiest doesn't want to comform to a Christians belief, " Your evil and I don't associate myself with evil doers" An athiest family moves to Indiana , but they are treated like monsters because of their athiesm. They basically were intimidated into leaving. I think Jesus would have had a problem with that.

I am presbyterian. a ministry of the Christian religion.....

  • But not as die hard.. Most of my friends are athiest. But there is mutual respect between both belief and non. This is the way it should be. One sees things from what they believe is what Gods point of you would be, the other of just living in this world. What makes sense to a believer , may not to the athiest. But don't rip the thiest apart for what you don't believe. Whether or not God exists, Love your fellow man uncondtionally. We live in this country together. Love and be loved.

  • very good and respectifull post

  • Thankyou !!!!!

  • Why are conservatives such bullies?? They are always so quick to name call. Calling a Democrat mindless and comparing them to sheep? WTF?? There is plenty that can be said about Republicans.

    PS. I am independent

  • When was it decided Fox news is fair and unbiased?

  • the ACLU is a COMMUNIST FRONT GROUP! look up Robert baldwin . Look where their money comes from. Go to look up the ACLUs history and who makes them up . Communists, Socialists , Progressives . The ACLU is an ANTI AMERICAN ORGANIZATION ! Lo WHO CREATED The SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE With Out PRECEDENCE! NOWHERE IN THE CONSTITUTION ARE THOSE WORDS FOUND! THEY WERE TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT FROM THE DANBERRY PAPERS! Remove Morals, God. Accountibilty ,Responsibility .who ? THE ACLU!

  • ...Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...

    -Bill of Rights, Amendment 1

  • No separation of church and state?

Amendment 1 to the Constitution of the United States of America:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion...

Translation? Congress cannot make any laws respecting any one religion, they are all equal and therefore no religion is better than another. Also means the Government (or State) cannot directly be involved with one religion over another. Thus, separation.

  • I miss the days when people would just report the news. Fox may be biased but CNN is just as worst you liberal douche.

  • He said it but I'm not sure he believes it or that it means anything to him - especially in light of his statement that Americans do not consider ourselves a Christian Nation.

  • Explain to me how that clip was supposed to go in your head! You're missing the point! She was speaking to a case before a federal judge clearing those four words. Fox news is obviously bias to the conservative right however they should be applauded here for welcoming the debate. "why does it have to be cleared?" was her question.

  • It's more than fair to call out media sources on their bias. When you find examples for MSNBC and CNN, please post them.

  • Yes, but technically fox news is correct regarding the opinions of some historians. The source presented in this video is from one historian with a different view. Also, I have to love the attacks on fox, I mean msnbc is probably worse in its bias, but it doesn't matter because you agree with msnbc. Double standards rock!

  • Well... if a president wants to swear on a deity they believe in that's fine by me. Although it should not be mandatory, and it'd be nice to see a US president WITHOUT beliefs in things for which there is no evidence. That one could say something like 'On my honour' or just 'I swear'.

What I find more objectable about US culture is that people have to do this religious pledge of allegiance. That's just.. RETARDED. Why should people say 'under god' if they don't believe in such a being?

  • Strictly speaking, no one has to recite the pledge (see Minersville School District v. Gobitis), but it is kind of bullshit that the words "under god" are in there, especially when you consider that they didn't use to be, and were actually added by Congress in the '50's. Not only was this a bad decision on constitutional grounds, it also screwed up the meter. Personally, whenever the pledge was recited in school, I just omitted the words "under god", it still annoyed the crap out of me though.

  • fox news = trash

  • Faux news. Gotta love it, Americas best comedy show.

  • A quick search of Google Books (not a complete record, of course, but the best resource that most of us have access to) reveals that the earliest source that claims Washington said "so help me God" is the 1857 biography written by Washington Irving (tinyurl/o3b79e).

Does it prove or disprove anything? Certainly not. But the fact that an earlier source cannot be found - anywhere, by anyone - does not bode well for the myth.

  • who cares?

  • As far as Fox "news" is concerned they are one of the head companies of spreading propaganda needed to benefit the higher agenda. For the most part people don't research what they hear/see on the news b/c they feel that the reporter (company included) would not allow falsehood in reporting but with many Americans hanging on every word of their television or mainstream radio you can tell them anything and their proof will be "Bill O'Reilly said it !!" My ? to you: "Did you research that info?"

  • For those of you that don't believe there is a God, and you may not believe in him today, but there will be a day that you will believe in him and that day draws near
