Rare incorrectly colored some of the enemies. Bazukas are red, not purple, Skiddas are purple, not green, and Kopters are acually yellow. They might have been colored green because Kopters' gear is green. Re-Koils are orange, not bright yellow.

Yeah, Rare gave some enemies weird colors. They overused purple, you can see it on Ellie, Bear Coins, Squitter's webs, and a bunch of other things that I don't remember. The coloring of Kopter and Rekoil isn't too bad, although the reason why they colored Skidda purple is due to technical limitations (it has to do with the fact that Skidda and Kobble share the same sprite when defeated).

I don't understand why they made Bazuka purple though. Same with Karbine...

Sorry, that was a typo (I must have been tired). But either way, it is due to technical limitations. When Skidda or Kobble is defeated, they share the same sprite -- this includes the color palette. If Skiddas in this game were purple, then they would magically turn to green once defeated -- that would look weird. So Rare just made them green in this game.

Don't ask me why it doesn't occur in DKC3, though...

Also, in this game, Knockas change from green to red when carried.

The other two games were never remade for the GBC, not even in Japan. Only DKL3 had a color version.

Hi! I'm MCJASuede's brother. I have a used Donkey Kong Land 3. But after the Baddies, Bosses, and Goodies in mine, it shows a really glitched world map. Weird. Mabye this game is 10 years old (1997-2007), the first owner damaged it a bit, or it does that. Great video! I like the "The End?" part meaning there's more in the game.

DK Land games are in NO way ports! They are Game Boy alternatives to those who didn't have a SNES (like myself) as well as convenient hand-held DK platform adventures.
