  • No covers or live performances, I don't care if you were at the staples center show, 5th row in '86, piss off. Give me the album version or stop wasting my time

  • @reefchiefer sorry for wasting your time... you don't need to watch it if you don't want..

  • @reefchiefer spoken like a true douche bag who doesnt appreciate music.

  • @reefchiefer wow... your are a piece trash. and a jerk. i bet you like the same sex as you to bescumer you because your incompetent because of your microphallus. go smoke some more...

@pazzmanmusic i liked it thank you

  • love this song,, u should add words tho

  • That was amazing, you just encouraged me to buy a harmonica :D

  • Hey man, like your version!!

  • the set up that holds your harmonica makes you look like jimmy off of Ed Edd and Eddy

  • Was your apartment really on fire??!!

  • @wormqueen3 no... disaster averted

  • You use tongue blocking when playing that?

  • @nebby58 Yes for parts.. the octives

  • dude, next time you do a video, TUNE your guitar.

  • @thedraphter ??

  • ouch!!!!ARE YOU SERIOUS??Keep tryin youll get it someday...

  • Slick move switching the harmonicas!

  • @nebby58 Thanks!! Kinda tricky, huh?

  • hi one question, would you like to tell me whats the key in harmonica for this song??

  • @07chiqui07 its a "D" harmonica.. the song is in the key of A

  • can you play the fast solo in the middle??

  • @hotcorner131 haah.. nope!! but i am learning the middle solo to run around... its slow, but coming along!!

  • Heeey --

So i have used you to learn both run around and at least part of this song, is there any way you can put the rest of the tabs up to the intro??? and also do you know the big solo in this? that one is amazing, and i wish heyhad the tabs somewhere on the internet

  • @hotcorner131 hey man... sorry, but I don't have the tabs for this... if you find the exact ones, I would love for you to post them as a comment here however... lemme know! And thanks for checking it out man! Mike

  • I've listened to a couple of your original songs on here and they are great, and you have a great voice. I'm encouraged to hear a singer/songwriter take the harp as more than just a little "spice" to break it up. The harp is in some ways harder to play well than other instruments, though it seems easy from the get-go. (and Popper is the hardest, and worth the effort, especially in a "how-to" video. Every note he plays is on your Richter diatonic.) Good Luck!

  • Thanks man. Yea, my pet peeve is when a singer/songwriter just uses a Harmonica to get very limited sounds, and then all his fans swoon because he is a 'multi-instrumentalist'.. I like to think of the harp lines I create almost as a trumpet or sax... miles davis, and rhassan kirk were great influences... jazz is an amazing well of influence and inspiration

  • Sorry to be the "Negative Nelly" in the back row; and I unfortunately don't own the technology to post. Let me write from 20 yrs. playing the harp. Harp players tend to not really learn MUSIC note for note---we go in with a lot of flash, bravado and tone, trading on the novelty of our funny little instrument, so we get little genuine respect from musicians who have worked hard at it. You're a good musician: I challenge you to set what you've done next to the recording and use that ear. Popper!!!

  • I do post my own music. please listen to my song "you" and let me know what you think.

  • please do better and post as a response if you can... I look forward to watching

  • i saw there concert and caught one of the singers harmonicas

  • Awesome! that is great!

  • lol ur funnyyy

  • Thanks soo much! check out some clips from my show last week :) love to hear what you thought of some of the originals

  • How do you play two notes at the same time like 14 or 63?

  • its called tongue blocking.. check out my video on octaves, or the jam in e...

  • Thanks, I'll be sure to check those out

  • LOL haha the talking lyrics are awesome. gj. keep it up.

  • omg when i saw this my mouth actually dropped! Best song popper ever did!

  • Thanks!! :)

  • thanks for the vid :) got my first harp today.... saria's song will be first to come!!! thank you so much for the help - amazing!!!

  • what key are you in?

it sounds lower then popper's version.

  • Its the same Key as the CD version.. I think its a D harmonica?

  • Are the notes lke 14 and 36 tongue block octaves? how-to?

  • yea they are.. check out my how to on that subject... cheers!

  • The way you play a tongue blocked octave is this. Your mouth should be set as though you are blowing a four hole chord and then you just place tip of your tongue into the comb and block out the center two holes.

  • Got my first harmonica today. I rock at Twinkle Twinkle Little Star within my first hour. You're really great. Someday I'll get there- you just wait.

  • Hahah... Awesome! I have faith... Let me know how the progress is going!

  • "Everywhere I go, Pachelbell is following me/ I`ll see you in hell, Pachelbell"

  • I've been playing the Mouth Organ since I was about 8, and I'm 15, 16 next month. All I ever learned were just tunes without all that much technique, and when I first got my Blues Harp and realised certain things couldn't be played, I thought: "This thing is defective!" I picked it up two days ago and watched your viedos, and now I'm improvising the Blues. You've changed my impression of the harmonica, and increased my confidence. Thanks. ^^

  • what key is the harmonica in?

  • Dharp

  • what does '14' mean?

    the 14th hole? holes 1 through 4? holes 1 and 4? slide from holes 1 to 4?

it goes for 25 and 36 too. i tried the options on my c harp but none sound right.

  • it means the 1 and the 4.. you tongue block the middle 2...

  • oh. haha. i didnt even know about that technique. thanks, mp

  • Cienko mu to wyszło...
