Much better times. WWE churned out so much just from simply not watering down their brands like they do now. Shelton Benjamin was a rising singles star. Rico was a memorable face fired too soon. Eugene was a good new character. Teddy Long became a face GM. Chris Benoit was alive and World Champion. Undertaker went back to his roots. Divas paid dues. Randy Orton had yet to fail from a main event push. John Cena was a great midcarder & succeeding as a face. Hard to beat even without Austin/Rock.

I don't see anything wrong with what JBL did, and Cole's commentary here is more befitting of his new heel character.
