I dont know what I like better, airsoft or paintball. I have a project salvo sniper paintball gun, and wanted a good airsoft gun, but I'm on a paintball team and there is no airsoft team or field. but If i had a place like that, I would definately be an airsoft sniper.

@ShitokiTheKing Well I for one do not hate paintball, I like to see people out having a good time, making new friends and just enjoying life, you can do that with Paintball and Airsoft. So be grateful that you can enjoy Paintball, in time an Airsoft site will be in your area and give it a try, there is no harm in enjoying both pastimes.

@Triggerfinger51 it depens on what your locaal airsoft field allows like in PA here any sniper over 450 FPS is prohibited, but remember it not all about FPS its about accuracy so the tighter and longer the barrel the better acccuracy you will have, but any good beginner sniper is between 380-450 FPS

Yea most of the time you have to measure the coriolous effect (wind) and u also need to sight a scope anyway. Usually two main dials, one for zoom, and the other for wind, for other more advanced ones there might be more.

@disturbed465 the two dials are for windage and elevation, there is a difference between windage and wind you account for not only physical wind but also the tendency of a round in flight to move in the direction of its rotation, elevation is for distance with drop due to gravity 1 mil dots are used to measure this and compensate effectively. Coriolis effect is the effect the curvature of the earth has on the flight path of a bullet over very long shots distances close to or exceeding 1500m
