We have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old DOHC Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree
@soucito but that doesnt make the car argentinian designed when the designer is living in italy now does it? designed by an argentinian maybe but not argentinian designed. its an italian design with an american motor *or was that designed by argentina too? lol*
@CHADIEB Alejandro De Tomaso, the founder was from Argentina, though his last name sounds italian to me. Anyway there is a lot of people with italian origin in Argentina so some of his forefathers may have emigrated sometime from Italy to Argentina
@Rumble200 from wikipedia: "Born in Argentina of a prominent political family, de Tomaso fled in 1955 to Italy – from where his paternal grandfather had emigrated – in his late twenties, after being implicated in a plot to overthrow the Argentinian president, Juan Perón." there we have it :p
@Rumble200 that's all great, but what was being discussed was the car and the design of the car, which is italian. the design was done by Giorgetto Giugiaro (an italian). i never said anything about the man, I was talking about the car not the owner of the company.

Alesandro de Tomaso is an Argentinian ex-racing driver.
I think the De Tomaso company was in Italy.
