  • hello again,

I forgot to ask what the rod was for (in the beginning of the video)?

    thanks

  • @jertheber1 The rod is part of my HHO driver circuit, see other videos.

    Richard

  • one more question. the patternthat is made inside the coil (center point), what shape is it? hexagon?

    thanks again

  • @jertheber1 It's not a coil at all, it's a straight line inductor of many layers and appears to form a hexagon in the center. it's bunch of stacked plyoagons from outside to the edge of the vortex.

    Richard

  • Hello,

The diagram you are using, how can i get one? also, is there another diagram so you can get 66 pegs? what is the spacing measurements between pegs? can the spacing be changed, wider or smaller?

Also, why do you have to use every fifth peg? what about every third, sixth, ninith, or twelfth?

Has anyone tried to use magnets in place of the pegs(after the coil is completed) to see what kind of effect you get? maybe with a secondard coil on the magnets and check for voltage?

    thanks

  • @jertheber1 The link for the diagram is under the video window. You can get a 32 point type 3 Starship coil E-mail [rfmmars@cox.net].

    Richard

  • Ok i got the diagram. thanks again. what about the other questions? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to learn about the device and the fundamental too.

  • Excellent work here sir. My senses agree with this presentation. One suggestion though on camera angle: Overhead [or top view] angle or directly across from you so your hands are not in the way. But even so, this is simple to understand and follow. Many thanks! MJ 8D

  • @Mrsheytun Yes the angle does change the shape and size of the magnetic vortex. The Starship is called a coil but it's a "Straight Wire Vortex Wind". There are no curves at all except where the wires at the petals turn and reverse. It's looks like a circle at the center but that's a illusion, it's made up of short sections of straight wires. However try other patterns and angles.

    Richard

  • what happens if you twined the wires

I think itd make it better.

  • @dustyroads13 That's the part that I can't talk about,.thanks for asking.

    Richard

  • @hhoforvolts why cant you? this is America haha

so if you had enough layers and enough current you can make it as strong as you want.

  • @dustyroads13 Yes this is America and the info you wish for is not for sale or free, it was was obtain by a research funding, after this video, from a private investor and is on going as of this date. Yes adding layers with heaver ga. wire will give you more power as well stacking them and connecting them together.

    Richard

    Richard

  • @hhoforvolts oh gotcha well

im sure i could figure something out when i do try.

  • @dustyroads13 Here's some information I can pass on, As you increase, the number of layers (Turns), the magnetic field gets stronger but at the expense of more current needed. A larger coil is no stronger but the magnetic field is wider.

    Richard

  • bravo! this is my favorate video i am going to make one this week and post video and mention you bro.. good job!! scott

  • @advancedhydrogen

Sorry for my late reply, I was at the 2010 Tesla Expo where we sold out of all of my Starship coil models, They were so powerful that other exhibitors replaced their coils with a Starship coil. There will be new videos of the expo coming soon!

    Richard

  • WoW, one of the finest makes a move, with equipments required and understanding of physics, let us see please, under an increasing / high-current-moving environment how both positive and negative region would be created?

The oldman said: "Because electron are moving" then right up it lift!

  • If you devide 360 by 24 you get 15. Does that mean the pegs are all spaced 15 deg. apart ?

  • yes, that's correct

  • @hhoforvolts Isn't rodins original feild generator spaced by ten degrees for each peg?

  • Yes it was done so you had a starting point for the second & third wind, so the windings wouldn't overlap each other. However this would limit your number of turns for each field. It doesn't matter if you overlap as seen in other videos..

If you make a 36 point Starship, the pegs would also be 10 degrees apart. I have found that over lapping doesn't make a difference in a Rodin, and is part of the of the Starship process. Anyway the five count is the same for the Rodin and the Starship.

    Richard

  • but* if you can follow the Russell P Black equations on Marko's site, you will see where this should be going,...I understand the intricacies of creating the "original" coil... a machine would be quite the endevour

  • Of course It is stronger, this is because you are stacking the vortex ontop of each other and creating a 3d....pseudo version....of the coil, if we were to make the original 2d rodin coil, 3d....essentially it would be like creating a minature particle accelerator. I think it still is impressive though, what you have acheived thus far b

  • The starship "appears" to be more magnetic because the classic Rodin Coil has a Fisher Price toy in the inside of it creating some shielding. The ideal torroid will be original geometric shape and be a three dimensional (Non Starship) Coil. But it will be Three Dimensional LIKE the starship coil because it will have LAYERS of windings (all maintaning the vortexial shape)

  • Yes we should keep all of Marco Rodin's perameters in tack but the BIG drawback of the "Rodin" coil is the form itself, simply takes too long to wind. I talked to Mr. Rodin and he said that the big money would be made to build a machine to wind one. I had the idea of the Starship some 8 months ago, and when "jamie" remove the fisher price form and flatten the coil, nothing changed. Test have shown that the Starship coil is much stronger than the classic Rodin, explained in the video attached.

  • Alright we are on our way to creating Marko's ideal torrid. One problem - the geometry matters just as much as the windings so this is a step in the right direction but if you go on his website, the old senior researcher from microsoft wrote a paper on this. He found the torrus skin is 3D but has specific positioning just like the outer skin but it wont be exactly the same. What does this mean? We need a mathematician, some starch and water. And someone to wind.

  • so if you run a neo does it run vertical or horizontal in relationship to the coil?

  • It would run across the vortex, not though the opening.

  • The next video will show a classic Rodin vs. a Starship. Both have 24 turns and have about the same resistance and inductance. The Starship can pickup the magnet with one winding or with windings in series. The Rodin coil can just move the magnet, with its winding in series there's hardly any movement . I used a wall transformer rated at 13 volts DC 1 amp. Both coils drew around 23 watts. It is clear in tests so far that the Starship due to its shape, is the stronger design, it's still a Rodin.

  • Great teaching video about the starship Rodin coil winding. Thank you very much for the video.

  • Hello Richard... really glad you decided to share this with others... a huge time saver on both accounts!!! You mentioned putting a coil inside the HHO cell... have you worked out how to do it yet?

    Well done!

    Jim

  • To put this size inside a HHO cell, it wound need to be smaller in dia. I think you could bend the outside pointsl upward to make it fit. This would be perfect to separate the oxygen from the hydrogen.

  • Very Smooth.

The difference between your beautiful coil and a Rodin with the same size wire and amount of turns will show up in the magnetic field. The outer edge of a Rodin air core toroid will have a lot weaker magnetic field because of the added space that the toroid provides. I must say, your Star coil is much easier to wrap and a hech of a lot quicker. I like it. Makes me wonder what it would do if it was made out of silver wire and then used as an electrolyzer, you know, submerged.

    Mike.

  • thanks for your expertise!
