This film has just made me question a lot more than give me any answers. Hopefully as it goes on I'll start to understand more. This film is a lot more weird than the show.
I am also listening to the last minute. Jeffrey's says he has been to one of their meetings, and that he's found something, and then there they were. If you notice the scene earlier when you hear the noise from the electric line from the man who calls himself the arm [Teresa's arm I believe, the one that went numb], I am assuming Jeffreys disappeared at the same time.
David Bowie scene came in coincidently with the Agent missing. David Bowie came from the Black Lodge and he pointed out that Dale Cooper is going to be inhabited by Bob.
I just read the David Bowie scene in the script. I wish they had included the Buenos Aires stuff. It not only would have made this scene work better, but would have been an entire framework for another film.
Has anyone heard any news about releasing all those deleted scenes? I remember years ago they said it was in the works, and that David wanted to work out how to do it, but haven't heard anything since.
This confuses the shit outta me. Are they a family of demons in the Black Lodge? I wish we got to see the White Lodge. I fucking hate when creative shit is held back because of money.
i don't quite get this first scene with cooper... what dream ? what was that thing with the image staying on the camera ? who was David Bowie's character ??
@AlecTheConfused Lynch was planning to make more Twin Peaks movies to explain all of the questions you asked, but FWWM was a commercial failure and did really bad money-wise, so he couldn't.
@AlecTheConfused what more do you need explained than what was already there and in the beginning of the tv show? I don't get why you need anything more explained. this isn't lost, it's much better like this I think.
This is just one big acid trip without the acid!!!! WTF was the David Bowie scene all about...and just when I thought things couldnt get any weirder!!!
Looks like Kyle Mclaughlan had a rough year between the end of season 2 and this movie. He looks a bit flushed; David Lych should have put him through a month of detox before they started filming this movie.
Where is part 1 ????

@haarisabbasi i always thought it was the lost arm of the one-armed man.
i think the bowie guy was investigating the whole black lodge mystery thing before cooper and tried to warn them

I think they were going to explore the various characters from the Black Lodge with that scene from the Fromoica table.

The Dale Cooper stuck on screen represents the Doppelganger Dale Cooper.

Lynch films often get the "WTF?" factor happening. This is no exception. He's a legend of a film maker and an interesting guy all round.

Well, I'm glad to see that the shows hilarious obsession with coffee made its way into the movie.

@jimbrown257 I know, it's weird. It looks like he's made out of plastic or something. Or like he's bloated.
