AHL-E-HAQ Deoband scholars of the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaat Good Character. It is a foundation of the teaching of Islam that it is necessary for a Muslim to adopt the religious code of Islam and also to have good relations and character towards those of other faiths. الله تعالیٰ مولانا مفتی صاحب مد ظلہ کو جزا ئے خیر عطا فرمائے اور ان کو ایمان و صحت والی لمبی عمر عطا فرمائے آمین
Allah (swt) says in the Quran: ‘So if they believe as you have believed (companions), then they are rightly guided; but if they turn away, then they are in trangsression’(s2, v137) In this verse of the Quran, Allah (swt) addressing the disbelievers and people of the book, stated that their assumption in bringing belief in Allah and the Hereafter is incorrect. If they truly wish to believe, then they should do so as the Companions of the Prophet (saw) did. Only then will their belief be accepted.
So the Croydon Muslim community acquired a Victorian house, 525 London Road in the early 1980s, and over the next 20 years purpose built a mosque of 3500 capacity on the site. The London Road site was registered for solemnising marriages on 8th December 1982.
Croydon Mosque & Islamic Centre, Wellesley Road, Croydon - established in the early 1970s in a small ground floor hall on Wellesley Road. [There are reports that a house on Derby Road, West Croydon was used prior to this from as far back as the early 1960s]. The Wellesley Road site was rented from the council and was earmarked to be demolished. So the Croydon Muslim community

Alhamdulaah in UK Croydon is a good place, but would advise you that you first come to Croydon on a visit and see all the Muslam school, Masjid and Madrassa.
