  • Well done!! Every dog owner should teach hand signals a well as verbal when training thier dog. ASL is even better! Dalmatians are prone to deafness fom a genetic fault, some think it is due to backyard breeding. I have 6 year old Dal that knows about 20 commands both verbal and using hand signals...again well done!!

  • Genetic fault? I've had enough of your false arrogance. There are several factors what deaf ppl have, hearing ppl don't have...higher spatial skill, higher periphereal vision, and higher chance of dreaming in color (90% of us dream in color. 40 or 50% (I don't remember which) of hearing ppl dream in b & w). ASL has some advantage that English doesn't have. Read the Mask of Benevolence by Harlan Lane.

  • I used to have a deaf dalmation =(

  • 0:00 - 0:35

MAN: "Recently seen and conducted: a video journalism contest among HS students drew thousands of videotape stories as entries."

WOMAN: "I thought you might like to see the work of one of the finalists, reporter Jason ___ has the story of a CT. woman who's taught Sign Language to a dog that can't hear."
