This show really didn't have a chance. So many real life nurses said their "lives" outside work weren't portrayed accurately; of course blown out of proportion.

I really hope it comes out on DVD or a network like Bravo or USA brings back the reruns.

SoapNet is going off in January, so that wouldn't be a good fit.

I loved this show ! Nightingale House was their "dorm".

I was seriously pissed when the "dogooders" had this show banned. It was the only entertaining medical drama on TV. Man, I wish episodes of this show were posted on You-tube.

I remember the last episode ended with alot of loose ends. Once charater's daughter was kidnapped, another character boyfriend was shot, and the other three nurses flunked out of nursing school.

I was a fan of Kristy Swanson in the late 80s, early 90s. It's too bad she never made it big. I think her last significant role was in Higher Learning in 1995.

I was a fan of this show too and it's would have made it big if it had time was a great show the nurses made gone off the air but there was show at the time that had much lower ratings than this show and they was spared

Easily one of the best 80's TV theme songs! I remember when Suzanne Pleshette was a guest on Carson, plugging this show. Carson asked her if it was going to be "Bimbos Go Nursing" She said no. Carson was right. Real nurses protested and the show was cancelled after one season.

Oh man, I watch this when I was a kid despite it was a chick show I watched it. I was hooked since episode 1 and loved it. I hummed the theme when walking to school lots of times and even acted like being a doctor back in grade school on the playgound in 5th grade and I loved the show I was sad that show did not come back for a second season but it was a good show to watch.

I loved watching this show when I was a kid. I had the hots for Kristy Swanson and Kim Ulrich. NBC cancelled it due to protests from nurses/nursing associations for its depiction of the nursing field.

@Heresay2 I seen this show and i have a few on VHS Tape I truly feel that Kristy Swanson and Kim Ulrich would have been breakout stars as all of the cast if this show would had stayed on the air there was many other shows that had much lower ratings that was allowed to say on the air longer when spelling came up with this ideal for this show it's was ahead of it's time and it's was and still better than the other Doctor shows and Nursing shows that came later. I am sure NBC wish had this Show.
