@cpcomedy314 You have no clue what you are talking about... Carbon fiber is one of the most expensive materials for a car. 10in^2 is well over $500, secondly it isn't even carbon fiber.. Also this isnt' gold leaf, it is a gold chrome wrap... the process of applying this to this 2 million dollar car is in the tens of thousands, not "~$500" also.. The dollar sign goes before the numbers, not after....

@orangegold1 You are wrong. Carbon Fiber is very cheap. The process of making it can be cheap or more expensive. Simple shapes can be made from layers of carbon fiber, for very very cheap. Complex shapes that need to be molded and formed cost a lot more(like chassis and body components). If you make the whole car out of CF it will cost a lot to manufacture. If you use carbon fiber on things besides the chassis, manufacturing is much cheaper. It all depends on the amount used, and parts made.
