  • what gauge strings are you using

  • I love all of your other work but to be hones i thought you were slaughtering this piece. Personally i think a piece like this should not be played on a electric guitar and secondly you could have put a little more into it emotionally.

  • you should add more emotion in your play. its good but its too flat. some decresentos would be nice. plus the second part needs a ittle more work. great try though. clever trick recording on the stairs ;)

  • why you on stair's haha

  • What string gauge does that guitar have on?

  • You kinda remind me of a more experienced, older version of myself XD, playing what you want, enjoying Metal, Classical, acoustic...

What recording program do you use? I'm going to be recording an album with my band over the summer, and I was just wondering if you had any suggestions for good mixing programs?

  • @Drust79 thanks for the support! I use Cubase, but a whole lot of programs will do great. Learn mic placement, how to EQ and that's what will make the difference

    good luck!

  • @robs70986987 Cool stuff, thanks :)

Got the placement worked out all right, we've had to mic up a few gigs with PA's and stuff. As for EQ...well, practice makes perfect I guess!

  • Is this the same piece Amy played at her recital? 'Cause if so, that rocks. If not, it still rocks, but for different reasons ;)

  • @515mkc I really don't think so, but I could be wrong

  • I LOVE your work! I'm a big fan of all your songs but this is now my official favorite because I love classical pieces.

  • @Creampuffin :)

  • I know I'm the millionth guy to ask you this, but how long have you been playing? I've got a couple years in and I'm just trying to get a rough estimate of how much more time I've gotta put in. ;)

  • :D

  • did I first hear this on My Chemical Romance's first album?

  • The finger picking is so awesome man!

  • I could zone out to this song forever...

As a finger picker, I guess I'm expected to learn this now. xD

  • Rob, your the best

  • I love this song! It's always been one of my favorites!! <3 Made my day:)

  • Need to work on my finger picking, might learn this :)

  • try "Another You" by Cromok...

  • This is actualy the first finger picking song i learnd

  • I'm not sure why, but this song makes me happy.

  • Man, this is the first fingerpicking song I ever learned! Guaranteed to get the ladies. But that was years ago, and I've forgotten it now. I'll have to learn it again.

  • yay for new fisheye lens :)

  • I would love to have the tabs for this

    Amazing

  • @sebastian9001 now in the description!

  • This is awesome. But if you can get a new electric guitar, then try to tune in Drop D or F. My guitars are tuned in that for my band. It's really metal! =)

  • @SoppyMacWolf I hope to god you're using 8 strings for drop F or I assume you guys use baritones.

  • thumbs up for the spanish tags "de España Anónimo guitarra clásica" I'm from Spain :D

Very nice and natural playing ;)

  • What is the EXACT tuning ?

I mean in the desc it says death metal tuning but in the tags it says standard .-.

  • @RockStyIe C# F A# D G# C#

  • Wow I knew that song before this and it was nice to hear something mostly forgotten to be played in such a new way. Great job!

  • It sounds like an intro to a System of a Down song ;D

  • @youlosttehgame nice!

  • @robs70986987 I find on the stairs playing acoustic (cos i dont have an electric) is really good because of the 'live' walls and reverb and all that jazz which is pretty awesome! ;D
