i been at the improv and performed a few times... the nervousness in your voice and breathing will improve with time. take a drink or two but dont get drunk. u need to take notes of which jokes got laughs re use them and rotate in new jokes to try. also try to consolidate the sentences and avoid unnecesarry words to improve your laughs per minute. its tough hang in there. most people will never even consider putting themselves out there like we do. also try jokes out on a friend u trust.
