  • egg-kick :D

  • I'm a second degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. A "master" is a 4th degree to 6th degree black belt, the 7th to 10th degree is a grand master. That instructor was a 1st dan/poom. he is about 10 years of training from being a master. So you should change the title.

  • *PAUSE* ok now back to epic rap battles...

  • im a taekwondo student , and i do this better than the "master"

  • zzzzzzz muppet

  • he suks ass

  • nah, you're all wrong, the guy who lost got kicked in the nuts with that last one. Damn, even i felt that one

  • I too am a black belt and have taught some people. But I never had them call me master because I'm not a master. Masters are usually 6th or 7th degree black belts depending on the martial art. Americanized Tae Kwan Do is seriously deluded with people think that they are badass and aren't really taught real martial arts. Its more like movie karate now all flash and no practical use.

  • @Sorenishii

    mcdojos are rampant in america.

People really have to be careful of the schools they pick.

  • I've got a 1st degree black belt my cousin is a 4 th degree in jui jitsu and I still can beat him in a match up

  • i think that taekwando master vs gay

  • i wanna go in a taek won do gym and use jiu jitsu on them teach em whose boss.

  • @Ihaxjava And what's stopping you? There are plenty of TKD places around. Why haven't you done it? No guts? Scared? LOL. Talk is cheap, action is better.

  • @Ihaxjava I've studied both TKD and Brazilian Jiu Jistu, (as well as muay thai and capoeira). First off, you're an idiot. Second, Jiu Jitsu is for the most part only useful once both fighters are on the ground. A master of TKD will not let it go to the ground. He/she will have ended it long before you figured out how to take them down. You lose retard

  • @synnergyx I lose? lol how come alot of MMA fighters dont use TKD then? Because its not effective. You throw a stupid kick and get caught and taken down, or you get shot on and taken down its over. Royce Gracie proved it many times. So if they ended it long before BJJ guys figure out how to take it to the ground then why did Royce Gracie do so well?

  • @Ihaxjava You didn't say anything about MMA you douche. You said "JiuJitsu". MMA is a vast combination of styles. As I said, I am trained in JJ, TKD, Muay thai, and others. I studied TKD for years as a kid and on my first day of JJ I (a jaded 15 year old) sparred full contact (with helmets) with the masters son (17), so the master could show how JJ was better, and knocked him down 3 times in the first 2 minute round. The 3rd time he was KO. He had a strong ground game but it was too predictable.

  • Respond to this video... Royce Gracie hasn't won or even competed in UFC in over 15 years, so he is no longer relevant. ask Matt Hughes. If BJJ was effective on it's own, then practitioners from the Gracie camp would still be holding the title wouldn't they?

  • @Ihaxjava Its all about who's fighting. I use to think that this and that style(method or what have you) was bad. But as I have practiced more I see it is the person and their willingness to expand their range of fighting abilities in different styles that excels. If you want to be good you have to be humble and take knowledge from all sources to be able to respond to more variables and be more adaptable. Even dancing can have something to teach(they have some great foot work don't they?)

  • @MingMeMingMe 110% agreed

  • @synnergyx If you practice takedowns and are good at them then its quite easy to take down most tkd fighters you just have to watch the many vids on you tube showing how inefective many striking arts are against someone who can also strike but has good takedown and ground skills. Tkd is far to limited in its range of skills. I have done many arts over the years and i would put tkd at the bottom of the list.

  • @BCCmma64bang TKD is limited in it's range if you have not mastered it,and not many have. I am confident in beating most of the students where I used to train. But that's because I'm fairly well rounded now. The main problem with having a formal TKD background is that you're routinely trained in a point based sparring system. Getting away from that in a "street fight" scenario is difficult for most. It is mainly based on the fighters ability to improvise/apply thier training...as with any art.

  • @BCCmma64bang And just so we're clear, TKD is not at the top of my list either, but it is far from the bottom. I reserve that space for wrestling, boxing, hapkido/aikido, and the rest of the "defense arts".

  • @synnergyx I have known many boxers and i can tell you this that on the street they are the ones who get a fight finished fast. I to have trained in many styles over the last 27yrs Tkd, Kali, Grappling, Jeet kune do, judo, and thai, i now teach mma whic i am the first to admit is not street defence but most guys who can cover all the ranges ofcombat have a good chance in the street!

  • the masters not doing so well even i can do better against a normal person(im 13 and im not a black belt im 2nd blue) he seems to confident he is kinda showing off to the street guy by not going hard hes trying to ne all jackie chan and act like he can beat him without trying

  • No offense, but i think the "master" part is highly exaggerated. he just didnt have the right techique for master.

  • you have to have 5th dan to be called master i would know my master was taught by grand master lee the guy who broutght taekwondo to canada

  • @assassin4359 do you happen do do ohdokwan mate ??? if so where ???? my master also studied under master lee

  • @dowdi1 yes i do in canda (of course) my master is master white (7th dan)and yours?

  • student WINNS

  • i do tae kwon do, and i know that that is unfair on street fighter

  • Street Man? More like Street Kid... That boy is not a day over 16 and the TKD is trying to look flash and make it appear he is toying with the boy. Funny video...

  • Why do people document their mediocrity and then share it with the rest of the world?

  • I could've seen it 7 seconds before it happened.. He thinks he is just a tank and can take all the hits. No protection from the hands. Sloppy punch. Should have done a back swing. And if he was a black belt I think he would've done a 720 kick

  • Nut shot??

  • lol, streetguy wins

  • lol! lol! no le juegena si al pobre lol!

  • lol i couldn'r stop laughing after he got kicked in the balls, so much for your black belt lol ahhaahah,

  • Do you feel good about yourself you just successfully hit someone in the nuts YAYYYYY smh

  • @Mh46518 If he was really a black belt "master", he wouldn't have even sparred the guy to begin with. Fighting doesn't solve anything, just shows who has the most anger.

  • a REAL black belt can kill street gangstas.

  • I have being kicked in the nuts while sparring.

  • fucking tosser

  • i think the guy got kicked in the nuts....

  • i swear.im the only one who trains in TA

  • Lolz he was kicked in the nuts. It isn't horrbile skill

  • -.- pndejo para eso existe algo yamado "proteccion" noc si lo conoscas.... ¬¬

  • @SuperBluepurple yea mabey karate may own me.. but i would loved to face one. i do kickboxing and about to start BJJ this summer, so yea i would like to see a black belt karate go aganist a kickboxer.

  • @CORMIER628 kewl...i train in ATA in Arizona(:

  • were do u train???

  • actual the power of taekwondo not at the belt..

but the power of taekwondo is at the harder we training the tkd...

more harder we learn and training..

we will get more taekwondo power..

so for those who doesnt know about tkwondo..don condemn tkwondo black belt..

bcause...although blackbelt...if they didnt training hard..

they wouldnt be a good taekwondo fighter

  • i train from 9:00 am to 12:00 then 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm everyday exept sundays

  • I would kick your ass X)

  • lmao. Master's should not need breaks.

  • That kid is not a master give me a break.

  • oh no... this is the problem with the American Martial Arts Systems... THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY... so they will promote anyone... dude came in off the street, and kicked a TKD black belt... that's sad

  • Lol, if you call him a master then i dont know.. He probably only got a title of master because he did forms very well and getted black belt, anyway, he doesn't know to fight, he was just holding his position trying to prove that no one can come to close fight with taekwondo fighters... For fucking sake i trained taekwondo 8 years and i still do, and i woulded kick this "MASTER" guy's head.

  • And yeah, master sun dont know to make combo kicks, and he wasn't attacking at all he is pussy. And he doesn't have speed at all he is just rising legs in air! :)

  • u dont have an attitude of a teakwondo martial artist

  • He should learn how to raise his gonads.

  • lol screw

  • Well I didn't say karate was good but its better for a street fight....

Taekwondo is better than karate but it takes longer time to make u a pure fighter...

Except if u train 5 days a week 3 hours a day... Ur gonna be a tough guy

But I still reccomend boxing for instance, its the best for street fight

  • wow the masters already tired

  • no he got kicked in the nots look at the last exchange

  • im a yellow belt n theres no way that the "master" is a black belt, if he is then hes going easy at him...

  • actually it looked like he was holding back there was times to where he feinted instead of actually attacking.. i mean a master isn't supposed to just destroy a student in class.. i mean how many students would they have left if he did that... I know my master... btw i study tangsoodo.. but my master holds back on us sometimes. i'm 16 btw but when i see him fight other high ranking adults it's like a total different person

  • believe me .. hes NO master :D

  • tkd is useless. join a brazilian jiu jitsu place or learn to box......most of the time those kicks dont work unless you really reallly realllllly get good at them ........it takes a long time.

  • Kicks to the stomach, groin, throat, face, head etc are just as good as any other attack. Kicks are more powerful then punches, twice as strong, and nearly twice as long.

And no it doesn't take a long time, its just that you people that practice twice a week for thirty minutes have a harder time learning anything at all.

Six days a week 3 hours a day.

The dude is not really trying obviously give me a break.

  • @spinkicker43

i know... but if u practice 6 weeks a day it would be good but uneccesary unless ur a big shot taekwondo athlete... i take taekwondo class twice a week 3 hours a day,.. n im doing pretty good but however im so agree with u :)

  • @KickUNdaFace

i dont think so, it depends on the practitioner, i take taekwondo.. n my friend takes jiu-jitsu, one day we had an argument n he got violent he tried to beat me up with his jiu-jitsu n i finished him with a single dollyo chagi shot.. it happened a year n a half ago, when i was still a white belt, n a couple of weeks ago i faced a karate guy at school.. n he beat me up like hell.. n i admit i suck compared 2 him, so it all depends to the practitioner

  • Look, obviously the black belt isn't really trying. He had many many opportunities to kick the other guy in the head/body and pulled each kick. This isn't a fight or a serious sparring session. You can't take anything from this, other than "If you spar with newbies, wear a groin guard!"

  • obviously the black belt wasnt good enough to be a black belt lol but i need an opinion on somethong, the guys tht called the twd skills "useless"... hes lying right? cus i want to start taikwando so badly cus my made started when he was young, now he is 14 and is a black belt im also 14 but if i take it up i dnt want to take a marshal art thats uselss

  • @2rok334

no its not useless n im not telling u this to make u take tkwd...

but still, u need 2 consider what martial art u wanna take.. if u get into a lotta fights i suggest take boxing

  • i dont get in to alot of fight for me i was either going to take tkwd or karate cus i need some form of self defense because i sometimes have trouble with a gang of 2 or 3 kids that usually beat the shit out of me if im walking past a particular place where they hang out like after 5pm. so i figured that if i stayed away it wouldnt happen but it still sometimes does so if i took karate or tkwd i wouldnt have that problem so much but wich do you think is better out of the two?

  • Well

I think taekwondo is obviously not the one, coz u can't do flying kicks n all dat stuff during real fights...

Karate is better, but it takes quite long time to make u fuck those guys up..

So I think karate is better if u wanna make them go away,

    But I suggest boxing....

  • yeah boxing is good for street fights so i might choose to do that taekwondo focuses on kicking and punching while karate focuses on elbow and knee strikes aparently so i dunno wich would be better to use in karate i think you learn to do some throws wich coukld come in handy does taekwondo use throws?

  • join an Mixed martial art school street fighting style..

  • Oh yeah, in tkd we did not focus and elbows and knees, but we did learn them, all the styles of elbow strikes and knee strikes you can think of....but we also learned sweeps (is that what you mean by throws?), like many methods on how to throw your opponent down, and how to get out of locks, etc. its not focused on all the grappling but i got a good idea on how to grapple, even though i dont like it cause i think fights should never result in men grabbing each other!

  • that helps alot actually mate that information could come in handy ummm is a sweep like a low kick to knock them off balance? yeha it says that tkd focuses onkicking and punching while karate focuses on elbow knees fists and feet so idk wich to take it might end up being tkd seeing as it seems far more deadly my mate is a black belt in tkd and he can rip out somebodys rib cage, and parylise someone with a stick i know it sounds like im braggin but yeah lol

  • Yes a sweep kick is to knock someone off balance, there are loads of techniques just find a form to grab there arm and kick there ankles, well that is the best but there are loads, anyways but tkd is my preference! oh and kung fu sounds awesome too but i have no practice with it!

  • yeah im guessing that you can win a street fight with one sweep if you do it right kung fu is awesome but where i live there are no kung fu schools they only have karate dojos and taekwondo training schools and between the 2 i prefere tkd so i think il pick tt one thnx for the info btw it helped fuck loads XD

  • It all depends on on the school! Tkd has a long great history but now a days it got a bad name since so many schools promote you without you knowing anything, and karate is alright too, let me tell you the difference between a good school and bad, i was in karate for 3 months, i got my yellow belt, i was in a taekwondo class for one year and a half, and i got my yellow belt, see the difference in time! well im using yellow belt because thats when i quit karate, but not tkd!!

  • this is horrible.....even with the bvelt i couldnt tell who was who......compared to my sensei and shihan this due is a disgrace..in the end the 'master' was the one bending over...the goal of fighting is to make your opponent no longer a threat and he didnt anything close to that

  • watch the video again he gets it in the balls twice.... master my ass,, not worth the view

  • its ok you dont have to stick up for mcdojo black belt over here

  • who gave him a black belt. im sick of non trained fighters giving martial arts a bad name

  • I am a 3rd level black belt and I teach my own class and I tell ya if that guy was really a black belt master then he wouldn't have left his arms down the whole time and his kicks were very sloppy...He fights worse then my worst white belt sudent..That's all I have to say..

  • dude i agree with u. i train in a mixed martial arts dojo and theres has always been that once in a blue moon thing when someone will come in saying that they can fight and beat us. i take that as a form of disrespect and we have torn people apart who have said that to us. i also agree with u about the black belt...he does fight like a white belt lol

  • no shit and if he were a black belt he wouldnt have fought him in the first place. plus if he wasnt fighting a total dipshit he would have been open to a number of sweeps, consequently rendering his mcdojo taekwondo b.s. skills useless

  • @MH46518 man, you are so full of shit. you know how i can tell how your so damned full of it? you said 'if he was really a black belt master'.stop right there buddy. no black belt is a master. u dumb ass. black belt is a mirror of white belt.when you get ur black belt it means you've mastered only the basics. and your not a 'master' till at least 5 or 6th rank black belt. also u said 'he fights worse then my worst white belt student'..no damn white belt fights like him. stfu poser! ur no teacher

  • (part 2) also.you said he would keep he's hands up huh? in WTF sports TKD for what ever reason you don't put ur hands up sept when your kicking. and he did. this man is indeed worthy of he's black belt. does he have a long way to go? yes, but like i said. you only begin to learn true TKD AT the black belt level. everything before is the basics...theres no fucking way in hell your a teacher. cuz if you were you'd respect this man no matter how bad he is, simply because he's doing TKD. your fake!

  • @MH46518 i know wht you mean i am a secnond dan and i am instructor to help my master and i have better white belts and they are 9 and they can fight better then this

  • @MH46518 and his balance was terrible... leg strength and balance are crucial to any martial art, nonetheless a martial art that focuses on kicks... this guy didnt know what he was doing.

  • @MH46518 HAHAHA he probably at one of those shitty dojo's that give u belts too fast

  • @MH46518

lol really? if you really were a third "level" black belt i think you would realize that "levels" are called "Dans"

and from this video i think we can tell that he wasnt going all out? his kicks were very sloppy? are you retarded or just blind? the guy kicked three times, tell me which of those three were sloppy? were they off target? were they too slow?

have you ever sparred before? like ever? i dont think you realize how ignorant you sound right now

  • @MH46518 i can tell from this comment that you are probably a first dan tkd black belt who got his black belt from one of those martial arts for kids places where everyone one get a black belt at the end of the year for participation.

  • @MH46518 Very true! What is the name of your school?

  • @MH46518 lol, nice.

  • @MH46518 I'm a white belt too, and I suck, but I saw that as well

  • @MH46518 Maybe he is black belt in WTF :)

  • this aint no taekwondo master, he got his ass beat. did u see that kick to the balls and he was down

  • @fightboxing4545 so if i was to kick u balls u wont go down?

  • @SasukeX142 I highly doubt he has balls.

  • the master is obviously going easy on him look where he has his guards and how hard hes kicking

  • Look at tose kicks, clearly not a street fighter hes a fucking TKD fighter you lieing shit

  • what are you talking about his kicks suck he is probably just doing them becuase he realized the TKD master had a huge reach advantage and was trying to compensate

  • No street fighter would ever throw a kick in a fight, dumb shit and look at his stance its clearly a light to medium contact TKD sparring stance

  • tru that use hands lol

  • Look at how he kicks though they're horrible. you're right about his stance though, i hadn't noticed that maybe hes just really bad.
