  • incredible. thank you for the upload!

  • Brilliant. What a shame it was film and they couldn't have saved more. (Expensive. I mean, 8 million dollars, afterall. Oh, sorry, 7 million.)

  • Cocaine was prevalent.

  • So funny to see Rickles taking it instead of dishing it out!

  • @RozitaVideo he couldn't fight back, he was laughing too hard!

  • Don Adams should have said, "Would you believe ... seven million dollars?"

  • Mel Brooks is hilarious in the background trying to direct...

  • ROFL!!!!!!! "what I want to know is in a fireman's carry how he can get both hands on the cheeks."

LOL Don Adams is soooo cute! Don Rickles keep getting blamed when Don Adams loses it.

    FUNNY blooper.

  • lol i will get the rings on friday can we meet early tommorow and look for furiture lol

  • ROFL love this. R.I.P Don Adams

  • 'Dont ask me anything, ur a pain in the ass'

Daaaaaamm! I know that would never have aired in the '60's with tv censors of that day

  • What show is this from?

  • @TheFutureLooksGrimm From Get Smart. Great 2 part episode from season called the Little Black Book.

  • @TheFutureLooksGrimm Serious? It's in the title... it's "Get Smart"

  • Part of what makes this video is hearing Mel Brooks off-camera getting pissed as these two joke around.

This is as close as we'll ever get to being there...and it's a great thing.

  • A blooper on Get Smart "Sorry about that Chief"

  • So good to see them enjoy!!

  • This is why I love YouTube:

Who thought to tape this when it was on (mid-'60's), and then save it until they could share it with the WORLD?

    Somebody did...

  • Incredible! Ja! Oy!!!

  • The directors are clearly annoyed in the background, making this even MORE funnier.

  • That was well and truly hysterical! Two of the three great Dons of comedy. It would have been wonderful to see Don Knotts act with Rickles and Adams, too!

  • Don Adams was so funny.

  • This episode was hilarious, the little black book one. The way Don Rickles and Adams seemed like the whole time they were having a great time really contributed to the atmosphere of the episode.

  • Two Delightful Dons!

  • That's something I never saw before. What a great outtake! Don Adams and don Rickles are comedic genius'

  • apparently this was suppose to be one episode and because they are clowns it became 2

  • Rickles could have used a stunt double to do the fireman's lift.

  • The director's voice in the background absolutely WAS Mel Brooks...no question about that.

  • Awesome video and ya gotta love when Adams calls Rickles a Jew dwarf at 1:11!

  • Jew dwarf? Too fucking funny!!!

  • no matter how far back you go in time, don still is bald and somewhat old. this looks like it was 45 years ago, and dons STILL bald. what a dinosaur. love him though

  • Its a wonder this episode ever got finished...

  • LOL,is`nt that the truth.

  • Don Rickles was known for the voice of Mr. Potato Head in TOY STORY.

Don Adams was known for the voice of Inspector Gadget in the INSPECTOR GADGET cartoon series.

  • And Don Adams was the voice of Tennessee Tuxedo, "Gee, Mister Whoopie, it's Inspector Gadget!"

  • lol!

  • That wasn't Mel Brooks. That was most probably director James Komack telling Rickles that the camera was on. Mel Brooks is credited as creator and some time writer of the series.

  • you have done well loomyaire, thanks heaps for posting

  • Chiefs first name is fadious.. he only says it once.. whilst in court. .when getting questioned by Max.. he has to state his full name.

  • It was Thaddeus

  • I think you'll find he denied this at the end

  • THANKS for this!!!!

    You have GREAT TASTE!!!!

Rickles was, is, and will always be - THE KING!!! He should have done more stuff with the great Don Adams too!

  • Don Adams pwned The King. No one else. Long live Don, RIP 86.

  • This is the best. Don Adams, Don Rickles, Get Smart.... It doesn't get any better.

  • this is GREAT!!! i NEVER seen this before 1:07 "you're a pain in the ass. jew dwarf" FUNNY AS HELL!!

  • I don't know if anyone else has caught this, but in this episode Don Rickles's name is Sidney Burns. In an episode of the Dick Van Dyke Show (4 1/2 ) Don Rickles plays a hold up man. While he is in the elvator he reads off a name and it is "Sidney Burns".

  • Chief's first name was Thaddeus.

  • Trivia question? What was the Chief's first name? You have to be a TRUE Get Smart fan to know this...lol

  • @CHINAROU Thaddeus was the name stated to be the Chief's first name. I remember in the episode "The Day Smart Turned Chicken." Chief's alias is Harold Clark though.

  • hee hee

i love how mel just keeps screaming "Rickles"off camera when don adams is the one talking. haha <3 RIP DON ADAMS

  • it's great to hear mel brooks shouting directions off camera.

  • Good Stuff. RIP Don Adams

  • haha i love how the director's just screaming at them in the backround and they just ignore him. <3 <3 RIP don adams

  • haha i love this!

it was so cool that they were such good buds:)

they were thinking of making a show at one point called "a couple of dons". i think that wouldve been hilarious! thanks for posting!!!!

  • Great stuff!

Thank you, thank you for posting this Archive work!

  • It's a wonder they got the episode done, with Rickle's antics. I heard his hamming it up is why they had to make it a two-parter.
