  • .....WHAT A TUNE!!!!!!! <3

  • my first listen and I'm struck by the fact that this got nor gets airplay...I don't get it..What a fantastic track...my band's gotta do this....we do nothin but 60s!

  • Bought the Go-Go album in 67, I believe it was on there. This wasat the tail end of the Miracles peak creatively IMO. There's something about not having hunger pains in your belly forcing you to write. Great song. Smokey was probably my favorite artist in the 60s. I bought WAY OVER THERE before I knew what a Smokey or a Miracle or a Tamla or a Motown was. Every 45 that was released got my 89 cents and I wore it down til the needle picked up the tracks on the flip side!!!

  • one of their best! i first heard this song on

    the lloyd thaxton show.

  • i still got an original UK tamla motown single of this song with Oh Be My Love another Frank Wilson track on B side

  • This is a song that definitely made me a Motown and Miracles fanatic. The year was 1966 and I was 20 years old. Motown was then not so much popular in Europe or my country Croatia, but I would listen at night to Radio Luxemburg (the best radio station ever), which could be heard all over Europe.

I agree wholly with Williamg that this song is not fully appreciated.

  • great dance track - Smokey on top form!

  • What a brilliant record, a love it...

  • Love this track! ktf

  • This is bassist James Jamerson at his best. Although I played on tracks for Motown as a drummer, sadly I never got to play with him, although I DID meet him. This is one of Smokeys absolutely best tracks.

  • is this the best dancer!!

  • This was one of BEST, MOST POWERFUL tunes THE MIRACLES EVER MADE !! It deserved much more attention and promotion when it first came out in '66!!!
