I've always built my rifles in Dark Earth, but I just ordered a Del-Ton upper and a Frontier Arms lower with a full black magpul MOE set. Should look just like yours but black. I kinda feel like I am missing out not choosing FDE this time, but it seems like almost everyone with MOE furniture chooses FDE, so I guess it's not too bad. Sweet rifle though man, looks great. I wish I could find a cheap eotech myself...

Well guys I did get one failure to eject using the TulAmmo. Just one round out of 300 shot. I had to punch it out using a cleaning rod. Up until then I was very impressed by the reliability of the TulAmmo.

@summit2g tula ammo is like the ultimate test for a 223/556 rifle. only 1 out of 300 isn't to bad. I've seen some of the most expensive rifles choke on tula. Thats why Im not even interested in trying it in my del-ton. I can buy brown bear for very slight more and have no issues. Im sure mine could run it as well but no need for it.

@summit2g no it's lacquered steel. Its not the best either but i bought 500 rounds a while back and didnt have a single issue with the batch. I would say quality is very close to wolf. and silver bear is about the same as wolf. and for the price i've had surprisingly good accuracy. 2.5"- 3" groups @100yds from bench for me was about the average give or take. some days better some worst.

I just checked out cheaperthandirt and there selling ammo pretty dam cheap. pmc bronze and american eagle for $6. and they got good deals in bulk ammo 2. man i wish i had some extra cash about now lol. oh aswell they allow customers to post reviews. check out brown and silver bear. Their getting really good reviews.

@marshallv1971 Thanks for watching. I got my sling from Tacstrap.com and they are available in Tan, OD and Black. They all come with the flag patch sown in. The FDE looks nice but I am starting to take a liking to Foliage.

I have 10 round blocks in them and the base of the Pmags are roll pinned in place so they can't be removed.

No it has not been to picky on ammo. I don't know if it has to do with it is a complete assembled my Del-Ton rifle but I have not had any miss feeds or jams. I shot around 1400 rounds of the following.

PMC Bronze Ammo

and FMS ammo from Weapons World

Yes the front sight is in the sight of the reticle but the reticle itself draws your eye past it and it does not bother me at all. I have hit very small targets at 200 yards no problem on a first shot.

Does the eotech reticle interfere with the font sight post or is it not noticeable.

I see that you have a rail section mounted on the top (12 o'clock position) of your MOE hand guard. How well does that work for you? magpul.com says its MOE hand guard has slots for mounting rails at the two, six, and ten o'clock positions. They don't say anything about putting rails at the 12 o'clock position. Also, how many rail slots does that RSA take up ?

@stevenpeters14 Yeah I actually have the small rail section that comes with the RVG so it is a magpul FDE rail section. If you would mount the RSA on a standard rail it would use one slot on the rail but it is as wide as 3 slots.

I feel that the RSA works best in that position when using the MOE hand guard. Also the 2 and 10 O'Clock position is a perfect spot for a flashlight mount because of the triangular shape of the hand guard.

@stevenpeters14 Yeah the MOE grip has the same texture and is made out of the same material as the RVG. They both fell great. I believe all magpul parts are made out of the same polymer.

Gun looks great dude! How much was the EOTech? And I'm getting the S&W M&P15 MOE in a few weeks and the Magpul website said the vertical grip could fit directly onto the handguard, but you have it on a rail attached to the handguard..why is that?

@macdiehl14 The vertical grip comes in two configurations. I prefer the look of the RVG Rail Vertical Grip. The other one bolts directly to the hand guard.

Thanks man. I got the flashlight mount from ebay. It is an Elzetta. The rear sight works awesome. I barely had to adjust it to hit 0. My rifle is in Flat Dark Earth.
