To me, the best Treehouse of Horror was Treehouse of Horror #1.

My all time favorite Treehouse of Horror skit is Bad Dream House.

My 2nd favorite is the 1 with the CGI Homer.

@stancosmos Mostly the Amityville Horror movies. And those movies are based on the account of the Lutz family who unknownly moved into a house in Amityville NY that they claim was infested with demonic spirits. It got so bad that after two weeks they randomly fled the house one night and never returned. While there they saw stuff like black ooze randomly bleeding off the walls and out of lock holes. An invisible presence slapped their pastor and told him to "get out" and stuff like that.
