  • You guys went the wrong direction. If you had gone south, you could have intercepted the EF4 that tore up Lone Grove and killed 9 people. It was after dark tho, and impossible to see. Terrible Tuesday.

  • at 17 it looks like theres a hammer

  • ok i am right behind that tan and tone on reno and cemtary glad i was not home i would have freacked out

  • I lived In Guthrie.lol

  • Amazing inflow at beginning! Good comprehensive coverage. Thanks!

  • You drove right by the subdivision I was parked in while I was filming this same wall cloud. There were some funnelish looks underneath it, but they never touched down. This should be the same storm that would end up spawning a tornado at Rockwell and NW Expressway. I lost this storm because of the lake.

  • That was some whopping hail!!! I live in Payne county and remember this. Great video! 5*

  • at 25 seconds was that redd timmer or someone doing a reed timmer impersonation?

  • very well formed hook echo at the start! nice footage as always guys!

  • dam all tht hail makes it look like it snowed never seen anything like tht b4

  • 1:51 - someone getting chased by a cop?

  • looks like it, but I doubt it. Usually during a Tornado the police are flying all over the place to control traffic and respond to hit areas and stuff.

  • are there exsisting laws for new homes to build storm rooms? With the average cost of a shelter in your exsisting home to be under 10k(4people) shouldn't that be the law?

  • man and i used to live there

  • wow a buitaful wall cloud structure and tornado

  • You shake so much i cant hardly see the funnel

  • Wannabes!

  • holy crap, I though all the hail was snow. lol

  • I wonder if they knew they were beside a whelen 3016.

  • It was actually a 4004.

  • (Here comes the nerd in me). You're both wrong actually. It's a Whelen Vortex R4. Oklahoma City has around 180+ Whelen Vortex R4s, 2810s, 2808s, and 2806s. All these were installed by SafetyCom in 2001-2002.

  • oklahoma gets hit with EVERYTHING! Poor OK.

THat siren thing scared the crap out of me!!

  • Yea, i live in Yukon and i was at school during this and when we got out of school and i was on my bus alls you heard was " OH FUCK! I SEE IT! THE TORNADO!!!

  • damn tornado had to hit chucky cheese, it has no soul

  • haha I KNOW! JUST HAD To HIT CHUCK E. CHEESE!

  • he never saw it coming lolz ROFL

  • I was in Yukon this day and we went in and out of the safe room about 5 times. We got locked in once! lol, oh well! That's Oklahoma for ya!!

  • This may be part of what went by my house before it hit chucky cheese.

    Poor Chucky.

  • Hear the siren? That means time say your prayers. LOL!

  • I live in Oklahoma City, n born in Oklahoma City too. All of the Putnam City district schools have to help all the students even others school district in Oklahoma have to go somewhere safe, man I was really horrfied even others too. I always wanted to be storm chaser too.

  • awesom size of those hails!

  • Yup...this was 2 and a half miles from my house, saw the hole thing form, normally everyone freaks but my family stood at the door of our cellar, and you wouldnt believe! we were on the east side, so no trash was coming at us, it was infreakingsane

  • Wow! Great video big action =)

I'd like to become a stormchaser too!

  • What radio station was that???

  • That was NOAA WX (Weather Radio)

  • probably 96.1 or one of the others that cover channel 4

  • why do you think that we are seeing a greater number of deadly tornadoes? Is it global warming,or just a natural cycle?

  • tornadoes are just tracking through populated areas. not bc of global warming, just bc of it's track

  • Global Warming Is A Hoax, We Are In a Cycle never Seen Before. Remember We People Only Been In North America 300 Years Elnino And Lanio Is Caused buy warming Of Waters, which Was Cause Buy Atomic Testing Like How many Bombs Were Tested In Oceans And Warmmed Up The waters Caused Fish Shortage Not The People From Japan.. This Is Directly Caused buy Atomic Testing And Now were Paying For It . More atomic Bombs have Been tested In States Than Any where Else. Think About That For A bit..

  • Also Too When A Atomic Bomb Goes Off Where Does The radiation Go? Up In The Atmosphere And Cause Hole Ozone Layer Too , Contamanation Of The Air we Breath, the food We grow To Eat Plus The Underground Testing They Do That we don Not Know about. so When A Bom Goes Off It Heats up To 10,000 Degrees Fer in About 10 Seconds So what Effect oes That Heat Has on The surrounding area where The Test Is? kills Every Thing Water, air You Name it . I Do Not belive In Global Warmming..

  • i dont believe in global warming either but the ozone layer isnt being destroyed by A-bombs but chlorine from CFC's

  • yeah i work airforce weather, we where tring to convince tinker that a tornado watch was a good idea, they told us that they didnt think that they had enough shear over ok to see any tornados, we just told them to turn on their tvs

  • feb 2008 52 people killed in the super tues.

  • I was on campus at the university of central of oklahoma and the sirens went offf and everyone had to take cover but i went outside because i saw it would miss us by at least a mile and it swept through real fast and was heavily rain wrapped.

  • Naw dude February outbreaks are becoming commonplace. There's always that one week in February when it gets really warm.

  • wow that hail is insane, and its so early for those storms to be happening in the states there, i am from canada and chase up here, by the looks of it we will be having another record breaking year here on the prairies

  • Tornado warning sirens scare the hell out of Me.

  • agreed

  • I freaking hate them to death! I shit My self every time I here one!

  • you guys are living my dream. keep it up, stay safe <3

  • it annoys me when theres a supercell or tornado, and theres a busy road headed in that direction, people drive towards it. idk why but that annoys me. do they want to be picked up and hurled miles away by a tornado?

  • That was a terrible storm. We had two tornados touch down near our town but they didnt stay long. One was only a few seconds the other one not shure...I know i didnt like sitting in the cellar for 35mins....XD Good job with the video 5/5

  • ive been hearing about these tornadoes just spotting out of nowhere. its been on the news. nice footage

  • is that GRLevel2 you were using?

  • those tornado sirens were eerie. I was about a mile from the one in edmond. It was crazy.

  • Awesome video! Btw, is that a tornado siren at 0:50 in the video? Looks like a Whelen WPS-4004. Wonder why it wasn't going off?

  • Hah, nevermind. I commented a bit too early. Sounds like they sent the activation signal to it twice. Excellent video, always love to see videos from fellow storm spotters.

  • Deadly wedge tornado in Lone Grove... massive damage in and near Edmond...confirmed tornado near Pawnee... large rotating wall clouds...hail storms...Feb. 10th...

Welcome to the 2009 Oklahoma storm season!!

Let's hope this is NOT a memorable one.

  • ya I don't know if I buy into that global warming stuff. all I know here in Canada it's been freakishly cold...and we are in the middle of a damn ice storm right now. I have to drive on ice tonight to get to work tonight i'm not looking forward to that. give me ok any day with a storm shelter of course.

  • lol im in putnam city schools. i went home and turned on the tv and they were like 'tornado at rockwell and nw expressway. and i am at mcarthur and nw expressway so...it was pretty amazing.

  • So what are you doing commenting on a tornado video runescape? You seem to know even less than i do. Probably because you fried your brain with all those games.

  • in northern texas (apart of the tornado watches issued) 1 second later nothing happened, then the next second later there was a bunch of rain in shit. it was craaaaaazy.

  • WoW you guy are the best

  • that hail is amazing

  • The one in Oak Grove that was long-tracked has been confirmed as an EF3.

  • lol nothing says winter like a tornado in Oklahoma during Feburary...crazy time for a tornado to happen?

  • It can happen at any time of the year, the key elements just need to be in place at the right time. But yeah it is very unusual at this time of the year.

  • if this is happening in Feb, imagine what is going to happen later on in the year.

  • YEAAA LMFOA

  • last night in north texas sirens went off.

  • I wish you guys would have been in Toledo, OH earlier this summer....We had some pretty sick storms!

  • I am wondering if you guys could comment on how a tornado forms in the winter like this? I thought you need heat and temperature differentials to form a storm like this??

  • thats true but u forgot to mention climate that plays a big role too.

  • be safe

  • Last night was crazy. The TVN forums collapsed because of the traffic(internet). There were 300 some odd comments on this. One particular tornado near Ardmore took almost an hour to die.

  • Amazing footage guys! Be safe out there.

  • Awesome footage, and WOW @ all of that hail.
