Since I was also 14, my hair has been getting thinner and I've seen the constant progression of hair loss on the same area as you. I am only 23 and it just keeps getting worse. I keep my hair cut very short so that it looks more balanced. You're story does inspire, thank you so much.

I hope you make it on her show. Thank you for having the strength to do this. I was looking at videos to help me with my hair.. and although everyone wants to tell me that hair loss is natural, it's NOT natural to constantly pick hair off your clothing, off the floor,out of the shower, off OTHER individuals.. I don't know why it's falling out the way it is.. Bless your heart for being so couragous.

5stars, brave women, you should try to read the book" lessons from the miracle doctors, you can download it from t orrents free charge, there is a part in the book that talks about the cause of hair loss mainly cause of hormones, and it recomends that people eat some green seed, dont remenber it, but i think its some cereal, weed or something like, sry for my bad english, 5*

I have been looking all over the net, especially youtube, trying to learn more about women with thin and balding hair. When I research "thin" and hair, it's about gals with thick hair who need thinning sheers. Tons of stuff out there for them. But the info for females with excessively thin and thinning hair (NOT "fine" hair) is rare. Do you have any other contacts or people you talk to or share with? This can be a very lonely feeling, especially after we hit 50. It's all about the youth today.

I'm 25, and lost my hair from chemotherapy about 6 years ago.

It grew back very quickly , but it's very thin. Especially on the top. Different texture now too.

When my hair was falling out my head was really itchy and irritated, so I shaved the rest off. My 2 older sisters cut their hair off and donated it. Then they shaved their heads.

You are so brave. I wish I had your courage. You are the first person I've ever seen with as much hair loss as I have. I am sick of wigs and am starting dreads with a scarf to cover the top and sides. After my children left the nest, I moved to a cheaper apt to be able to save enough money for a hair transplant. That's how desparate I am at this point. By June, 2010 I will have the money. Now I'm just praying it will work. I am 56 yrs old.

i recently received a real hair prosthesis as i have been bald for over 30 yrs.i'm 52 and this wig is magic on a silicone base.cannot feel it.does not itch doesn't come off, and u can swim in it if need be.

just had to shave off the mess on my head the patchiness!

I´m a 41 year old male, and I´m losing my hair due to stress. I don´t have any hereditary problem. Although in your case, lady in the video I can you you have a severe case of baldness. In any case I wosh you the best because you are a beautiful lady with or without hair.

It only costs me around .80 cents a day to use the solution. now I wish that there was a pill for the ladies like Proscar that did not have the side effects. I suggest everyone that is loosing hair to go to a doctor. This is not an ad the stuff really works.
