R.I.P. Warren. I had to read about Boom Boom Mancini a few times before I discovered that this song was essentially Mancini's biography. The whole song is an accurate representation of Mancini's career, though the part about the death of Duk Koo Kim is not exactly what Boom Boom said at the time.

Hypocrite judgements after the fact is certainly true, though.

Warren smoked that fucking guitar. Cooler than the av-er-age piano player. Everybody talks about Niel Young as the "Father" of grunge. Warren was pretty fucking grungy whenever he wanted to be too. A true to the death artist who knew no boundaries. His son Jordan is supposed to be releasing an album. I have heard a few of his songs and they are good. I mean real good.
