Do you HAVE to lean with your body/knee to the asfalt with this kind of bikes? or can you also take the corner in a easy way, by losing speed before going into the corner and sit more straight
Ah, scared of your tires. Once you're more confident with your tires, you won't worry about carrying speed in to corners. Stupid ABS though... worst thing ever on motorcycles. Ruined the car world.
corner wasn't sharp.. could've easily made it if you you had leaned over more... glad u didnt crash.. i always tell myself that if i feel like i'm gonna run wide around a corner, move @ss over seat and pull as much lean angle as possible. Better to low-side than run straight off road..
HAHA! I did that yesterday on my bike but I wasnt quite as lucky, I was going too fast in a turn, I tried to lean hard for it but realised it wasnt enough, I was able to straighten up before going down into the grass but luckily I was able to ease the speed down and get back to the road with no damage to my bike, I live in texas though so no huge drop offs haha definately scary though
Dude that chevron (yellow and black pointy sign) just gets closer and closer and then you hit the gravel. I'm very surprised you didnt grab at the brakes, most people do. Glad to see you didnt wipeout. Anyway cool videos. Oh and also the reason the back wheel locked, even though you have ABS, is because ABS only works with braking hard, it looks like you back wheel locked due to changing gears.
@OriginProgenitor Thanks for the info mate! I've learnt my lesson and know that braking while cornering will make you go straight instead of turning, so that's the reason why I didnt grab at the brakes:) You're right, the wheels locked because I downshifted and let the clutch out too fast...Ride safe!
@Nickiller6969 nickkiller please if u care to explain to me what is up with all the abs things what does it mean. i am in love with super bikes bu ti dont know much about them. is it easy to turn all that thanks
@pker075 Yes sure! ABS prevents the wheels on a motorcycle or car to lose grip by adjusting the brake power to a level where the motorcycle / car can brake most effectively. If you press full power on your back brake with ABS you feel that the bike won't let the back tire lock, feels pretty weird the first time!
@Nickiller6969 thank you so much. i also have one more question if u dont mind. do u think bikes like that are easy to turn like is it hard to ride them. is it easy to lean while turning please try to answer this if u can. al i ever riden was scooters and dirt bikes never a crotch rocket thanks u rock
@pker075 You're welcome buddy. My Kawasaki Ninja 650r is very easy to lean because it's pretty light but ofcourse it takes some practice to lean well ;)
@raddpuppy70 thanks raddpupp70, I think if I went 5 cm's further in the sand & leaves I wouldn't have made it coz there was a 5meter fall lol. Ride safe:)
Body position and thottle usage before the corner probably off. SR-s kicking in and there you have it. The speed was no where near the limit of that corner. Good save though - couse one could see that the tyres were already getting onto the gravel part of the road. Another 5 inches and it would have been yet another crash vid. And a damn good qualty one :)
